Yet another boring episode - IMO, the whole Connor saga had a lot of potential but ended up being pretty lousy. I admit, first time around I didn’t expect Holtz to kill himself and frame Angel, but when it happened I wasn’t shocked or actually cared about it. It was a shame Joss let this show to built up to be soapy drama, we had enough of that with Connor being kidnapped but from this episode and onward the choose the cheapest drama possible – Oedipal crap. IMO, 5/10.

I do enjoy the unusual tone of this final selection of episodes. Holtz' plan was sick and really gave him the most evil exit imaginable. A strange character. He never really kicked ass, which made him kinda dull a lot of the time; but no-one hurt Angel so emotionally before which is a nice twist. I think overall he was Angel's most devastating villain. What he did left emotional scars forever. He really messed up poor connor too. The weakest part is the tragically inevitable build up of Angel/Cordy love which I never believed in. It's still plain odd to see. Groo is so underused too.

urgh Boring liek all the frigging connor episodes.
Like lior said it had so much potential!!!! and thye truly buggered it up...plus I fudging hate justine...she seriously ruined the last half of season 3 for me...and when I saw her in season 4 my stomach dropped...praying she wasnt going to be a re-occuring character again.
holtz plan was evil though...only good part of last half of season 3 when he killed himself...only wish hed taken that bastard justine with him!

I actually loved Justine. She made this episode for me. It's an alright episode, but if it wasn't for Justine, Holtz and the scene with Wesley and Lilah, I would of hated it. I also love the last 5 minutes.
