This is within my top 5 episodes of Buffy and Angel. All around awesome. The singing, the clothes, the funny/sadness of it, a Buffy/Spike kiss. It has it all. -John

This is exactly why Joss is a genius!
This would always be my #1 episode from all of the 144 episodes of Buffy and 110 episodes of Angel. It has brilliant script, brilliant scores, brilliant acting, and brilliant songs!
10/10! Big time! ;D

This is the first ep I watched that I started to become a full fan of BtVS.
I really loved the fact that all the songs and the entire episode kept the storyline going with the season. It wasn't this one off ep where Joss wanted to see his cast sing. Everything was worked into the series.
I applaud SMG for doing such a fine singing job when she has had no training prior to the shooting of the ep. I think she had the hardest job considering she's the main character and had to sing so much.

I watched this episode 2 or 3 years ago, and it was the first episode i ever watched. I didnt really get it at the time, because I didnt know the characters. Then i started to watch all the seasons in order, and I think it is a really good episode. Definitely in my Top 5! It was acted out so well, with all the emotions.

Obviously one of the well-known Buffy episodes ever created because it is so original. I really didn't know what to expect! I was 12/13 at the time so not knowing anything about musicals, i was expecting SMG to sing a Britney Spears hit! So since this was my first musical, i really enjoyed it! The storyline for season 6 so far was all continued through this episode and i was glad that Buffy eventually told everybody she was in heaven. The only actors i thought were really bad at singing were Alyson and Michelle. But Alyson knew it and asked for as little lines as possible All songs rocked! The album, DVD and script book are all sitting on my shelf! lol 10.

I THOUGHT THIS WAS SUCH AN AMAZINE EPISODE ! Some of my favorite moments in “Once More, With Feeling” are those extravagant moments. Emma Caulfield sells that Bunnies interlude so well that I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face, and Anya’s continued interest in categorizing the various songs showed a self-aware side to Whedon’s writing that fit the occasion. However, the best moments are those that carry the weight of the season. Say what one will about the way the season has developed to this point, or how the season develops after this, but “Once More, With Feeling” lands and lands hard. “Under Your Spell” is an enchanting little number when it first appears, but when Tara (logically) co-opts it to explain Willow’s deception it becomes this tragic refrain. “Something to Sing About” is not my favorite song musically, as those weird rhythm changes bug me, but the more I listened to it the more you can see it building to her reveal. Similarly, many of the most powerful moments are those that wouldn’t appear on a cast recording: Willow, after all, doesn’t sing her pain after learning about Buffy being in heaven. Attachments:

I agree with all your points here but I think you're talking about OMWF instead of Tabula Rasa which is the theme of this thread - do you want to delete and then re-post in the right section? I'm very happy to see the episode discussion thread back in action though so please don't stop posting your thoughts!
