I'm surprised they jumped over Let's Kill Hitler, hang on, no I really am not surprised by whatever they choose to put out! Let's all be thankful there hasn't been any old people yet or CO would be all over them.

Given that there was one Cybermat in the episode, seems a bit cheeky...
Oh, and it seems next week we get new action-figure-friendly looks for some characters...

Don't think I'll buy bearded Doctor. I hope we see more of the wooden dolls.
Not sure about 10" Doc. The other larger scale figures from CO were 12"weren't they?
I will probably go with the high end figures for larger scale, depending on price.

I will probably pick up the Peg Doll and the Cyberman with chest damage. I wish he came with THE cybermat instead of making us buy 20 of them....
Still waiting to add Rory to my collection...but aren't we all, aren't we all?

In this week's Radio Times, Arthur Darvill mentions having had his head scanned for one...

Yep, that's Rory. And his figure is long overdue. In any case, another classic announcement today: 10th Planet Cyberman and "Dalek Master Plan" Dalek and slave RoboMan: Personally, really easy pass for me. But I suppose some people would be excited about it.

I like it. It will add some interest to my 1st doctor shelf. I don't know who RoboMan is or what episode he is from but I think I will get this. What excites me most about this is the strong possibility of them moving in this 3 pack direction with the other doctors. I would love to see this with 2-7. Would be better if it included a companion.

I would have liked it much more if there was a companion. The roboman are from the story "Dalek Invasion of Earth" - they were human slaves made to obey the Daleks (the helmets made Daleks able to control their minds). For some reason I mistake them in being in the Master Plan story as well. But looking those up again reminded me they were only in that story. BTW those could be easily released with Susan since Invasion of Earth was her last appearance.

So, that bearded Doctor did not really feature in the finale at all.
Yes, there was a Doctor, and there was a beard, but that figure isn't part of the finale. Must be from the Pandorica episode. At some point he must have ditched the restraint coat and put on his suit.

Th bearded Doc is from episode 2 "Day of the Moon": Of course he only had it on (in his suit) for couple of seconds before shaving it off but apparently its enough to get a figure.

Thanks for the pic.
I hope that there will be a wave of finale (series finale, not final) figures - Alternate Amy looked great, Alternate Rory looked, well a bit thin to be a soldier but ok, still a good outfit, and it is about time the big blue guy got a figure too.
Did Alternate Amy mention WHO she was married to?
Update: I watched it again and her accent confused me. Alternate Amy did not say "And I'm married". She said something else.

First look at the new 2-pack packaging: Courtesy of ebay and that UK seller who got the Peg Soldier last time. To be frank, I prefer the old ones as they were more colorful and eye catching but those are still nice.

I open all my toys so the packaging doesn't really matter, but I think it looks ok. Definately not as colourful.

Enough with the Daleks already! Geez. Is there really a collector who needs more than 12 styles of Daleks for their collection?
(Ok, ok, so I myself bought half-a-dozen versions of Cylons from BSG, but even then it felt like a bit much!)

I agree, not that much of a Dalek fan myself. Got couple in my collection which is more than enough.
But this means we'd probably get more baddies so perhaps next set would include more cool aliens.

I'm one of those fans that sees a Roboman and an mechanoid and thinks, "finally!"
Seriously, it's great to see some 60's stuff surfacing.
