I know the budget for season six was $2.1m per episode and I believe that...
Nick saw $75,000 per episode Alyson saw a bit above that Sarah was allegedly $100,000 per episode...
I believe as far as regular go the pay went as such...
Sarah ($100,000) Alyson ($85 - 90,000) Nick ($75,000) Michelle ($60,000 - $70,000) James ($60,000 - $70,000) Emma ($50,000 - $60,000)
Reason being... Sarah is the lead Aly was the biggest star and higher pay makes you stay Nick has been there longest and your pay legally has to increase each year. Michelle was a bigger star when starting. James was good for the show and had also been there longer. Emma....well this is why she wanted to quit, financial disagreement with fox.
I know that in season five, Sarah was getting $2m per season...so I'd imagine that $100,000 if correct...making $2.2 m in her final season.

Actually, this is what the three main actors were being paid most recently...
Sarah Michelle Gellar- $350,000 per episode (during season 7)
Alyson Hannigan- $250,000 per episode
Nicholas Brendon- $300,000 per episode
Can you imagine how much the other actors were being paid? I went on IMDB (Internet Movie Database) and these were the only ones I could find.

theres no way NIck got more than Aly - NO way...especially after her promotion...
plus if you look at that amount there...it comes up to 850,000 which is almost half the episodes budget excluding James, Emma, Michelle and guest stars.

I cant imange michelle making more then james and emma. I think something is wrong with all the numbers. But i can imagine sarah and alyson making upwards of a couplE hundred thousand each episode.

Did anyone remember hearing that about a year ago, Sarah Michelle Gellar was being offered $750,000 per episode to stay and keep Buffy Alive.

Yea, I know the budget went way up in seasons 5-7, past 2 million dollars. And I also had heard that SMG was offered an huge amount of money per episode to keep her. She had wanted to stop after season 5 I believe. Thats why I was wondering.

I wouldn't believe it either but I do trust IMDB alot and I know that editors there do not ever post anything that is not absolutely certain. I think the actors were being offered so much when the moved to UPN because of Paramount and it's power as one huge-ass company.
IMDB may not have updated Alyson's page yet because they have almost every single actor on Television listed. So by season 7, she may have been getting more than Nick. Either way, I doubt that money was an issue for Aly since she was living with Alexis Denisof who was probably getting a good amount of money at the time also. Hell, the David Boreanaz page says that he gets 30,000 per episode which is probably what he was offered for the first season of Angel.

YES they do because they wrote Stephanie Romanov as being in Cruel Intentions 3 and she said herself she didn't even know they made one and she wrote a letter to IMDB. They're an affiliate of tvtome who often add "facts" based on rumours.

Of course there are minor things like that. Occassionally, they'll be fed incorrect information about an actor's height or something but I doubt that they get away with screwing up on more high-profile actors like Sarah and Aly. Cruel Intentions 3 was released on video and I doubt that they monitored that movie or Stephanie Romanov enough to point it out.

One thing that people might not realize is that the network cost per episode is different from the actual budget. In fact, most networks don't ever pay the full cost of production, the studio that produces the show pays the total cost. So in this case, I think Fox might have put in a little more than the $2.3 million to produce each show. The studio makes up the difference in eventual sales for syndication rights, DVD/video, and in Buffy's case, continued promotion for the extensive merchandise.
