It's great to think of a good use for those wonderful Matrix poses.
Something about the scale bothers me, though. The hips and thighs look a little bulky for Buffy, because they're from a larger scale figure and the arms look a little small in comparison. I know you measured up the limb length but sometimes the width can throw it off.
I also agree about eyes not being your best. Maybe they are set too wide apart from each other.
Having said that, you've done a superb job of melding together disparate body parts, finding a concept and executing it. The pose looks great and the paint job is excellent. I love the pinstripes.
The stand is also adapted really well.
I really give you kudos for making such an ambitious figure and not playing safe. That's the path to excellence and you're certainly on it.

i have to say i really love the idea and i think it all works really well together. the only thing that bothers me a bit is the join between the sculpting and the jacket and the sculpting around the buttons area , it just looks a bit rough and not as smoothly done as ive seen you do before , maybe its just shown up more in the pics without constructive critisim we cant build towards better things , i hope you dont think im being harsh. the painting looks fantastic and the whole effect is great. good work wayne -lee

thanks for the comments guys, i really cant see a problem with the eyes, ive painted them the same as my last few buffys?? the sculpting on the jacket does looks a but rough, but not as rough as it does in the pics, the flash shows everything....but is quite good at showing the likeness....... im very pleased, this is definately on of the most complicated figures ive made and im pleased, so all is good. and lee your not being harsh at all, we wouldnt get anywhere without honest comments, so thanks, i have about 7 buffies lined up and a few special buffys as well as a few others, so these comments will really help wayne

Wow! She looks awesome! What a brilliant idea for a custom! The way her coat looks she does seems to be "captured in bullet time" and it looks simply amazing! Way to go, Wayne!

blimey - what an amazing idea. Very ingenius. These are the sort of poses I wish DST had made for us, that can actually be displayed in these action shots. Very clever use of those Matrix figures. I also love the jacket - the colour and style looks perfect. I also like the way you've used part of the deluxe body, and have covered up the horrible joints/stomach area etc.
