After seeing Dead Man's Chest a third time, I REALLY want that Pirate Elizabeth. I hope they don't change the prototype as drastically as the COTBP version. She used to look so perfect. There ar supposed to be more pics of the pirate version at SDCC. I hope they look good. Also, her scheduled release date is actually August. Just one month!!

Do you have any pictures of the origional COTBP Liz before they changed her?
I am hoping for a wedding dress Liz! That would rock!

Yeah, I know. The problem is that I can't find good comparison shots to tell if it's the sculpt that changed or the paint job.

I am thinking that the problem must be in the paint job, for the likeness anyways. MC has nothing but praise for the likeness. He even used all caps in his praise of the likeness! I might just have to pick one of these up if I see it at the mall!

It wouldn't be so bad if the hair and eyebrows were a little lighter in color. It looks damn close once it's out of the package, but it still falls well short of what's pictured on the package.

I know this thread is for Elizabeth Swann figures, but I didn't want to start a POTC thread. Did anyone get pics of Elizabeth at SDCC? And did anyone see the WICKEDLY cool Norrington figure?

She's definitely 7" scale - the NECA line seems to be getting bigger as it goes along.
The original Jack was a pretty big 6" figure who could happily stand next to Buffy, Barbossa was about 6" with a very big head, Will was closer to 'proper' 7" with a fairly big head... and now Ragetti looks more like 8" scale...
