Great Googly Moogly.. or Good Godfrey Cambridge to quote Xander !!... Trivia Alert: Anybody know what episodes those are from? This has truly been an amazing competition! I am so thrilled that you all were so inspired and creative for this challenge. I don't know if it was the lure of prizes (wink, wink) or just the spirits of the season... but this is the most fun the customs have been, in dare I say it... years! Great concepts, lovely execution, and the Halloween vibe throughout. I salute you all! Congrats on your Spooktacular, Fangasmic, Boo-tiful Creatures!

Ooh, I'm curious what you've heard?? I've decided on a fight scene with the minions, Buffy armed with a pool que and Sweet and Dawn looking on. A little bit of the idea was taken from my Anne set but may use similar fodder. I've made a good start but unfortunately my work life gets in the way so I'd imagine you'll probably finish before me! I'd love to see you make a PF OMWF Buffy too, she'd be lovely, maybe as she slips that gorgeous leather coat off. X

The Halloween Challenge
I'm so happy about this Challenge. Everyone did such a great job. It was really good fun!
Thank you so much to smiler for her sterling work in moderating the Halloween Challenge!
I adore your Trick or Treat demon and kids, smiler. The composition is so perfect it doesn't even need Buffy (although she is gorgeous). The kids are just amazing - absolutely adorable and perfect use of parts and scale. All the little details are superb. And the demon is wonderful. He looks kind of clueless just standing there. I keep saying this but... it's my new favourite smiler piece!
I really enjoyed the glut of entries on the last day. The standouts were Sally and Fear Itself Buffy.
Customisers, don't forget to enter the October COTM contests this week. There will be prizes from msperoxideluv!
My Work
In answer to the questions posed to me...
Thanks! The Buffy and Spider Demon set was for sale. It was bought by Joan-b.
When I'm inspired, like I was this time, I might still make the odd figure or tableaux of my own choosing, not as a commission though.
I'm only open to doing commissions for busts (mini 3" or large 7"). I'm working away from home all week and I just don't have time to do the research and wrangling involved in making complex figures with poses, accessories, stands, etc. A bust still takes a lot of sculpting and painting but it is much less fraught for me at the weekends because the planning aspect is so much simpler. I only have to worry about finding the right head!
So, I am open to commissions for Jossverse items, but only as busts. I'm making a new BtVS bust at the moment. I'll post it later this week.

Since this challenge went so well, might more holiday challenges be in the forums future?

I posted this in the general challenge thread a few weeks ago.
Twisted Christmas entries are certainly acceptable, but I don't think we should limit it to that. It's too restricting.
So, yes, let's do another challenge for Christmas, so starting thinkin of ideas. Let's call it the Naughty or Nice Challenge.

I dont know how ive just seen this thread but these are some of the best entries ive ever seen in a competition. You guys have really stepped up the work. Fantastic. My notable favourites are American Horror Stories Nun Bust- Great choice of face. American Horror Stories Nun and RubberMan (Superb technique for him!) Gachnar and Fear Itself Buffy. Super Sculpting and the bases are fantastic Spider Demon Buffy. Superb work here Sasha. The pose is very natural and it has great movement. Love it Halloween House Buffy. Great idea, very creepy. And i particularly love Sashs ABADDON. Such an awesome character. You've really captured her likeness and sass! Awesome work Ofcourse all entries were superb. If i knew about this thread and had time to vote, it would have been very difficult to
