Supernatural Leviathan Mask

Hey All
Havent posted in a while, hope its OK to post this here.

I went to London Comic Con on the weekend and this idea popped into my head. I thought it would be freaky.

For those unfamiliar, Leviathan are a monster in the TV show Supernatural based on a Biblical demon nick nammed "the Big mouth"

Here is my sculpt. I used a mannequin head as i didnt have a facecast of myself to hand.



So i then made a mould and cast it in Latex. I painted it with skin tones and then added clear elastic (rather than gluing it to my face) I lined it with a black fabric that i could see through but no one could see my face. Very disconcerting.

For once, my long gangly body has worked in my favour. People were very freaked out.

Really neat. Perhaps a bit too dark to fit your skin tone, but otherwise it's brilliant. I posted a couple of the pics on tumblr and linked back. Is that ok?
