well, in fact the urn on the right has a correct shape and correct colours, but the symbols are not accurate to the one used in the show, here are some photos of the urn, you can see that some symbols are differents or not painted the same way as the screen used version : for the hibben jackal I think that the blade in resin is the only way to avoid customs problems when you are living in europe, because if it's made of metal/silver it will be considered as a weapon by the customs. Otherwise, the color of the handle is weird, in Buffy the handle is dark red/brown... I've just ordered one to Buffyprops, I will ask photos of the final result before the shipping, I will see !

I bought both the "Stunt" Jackal knife and the Urn Paul produced...and ended up selling them both in the end. Both were reasonably priced and I suppose decent but weren't something worth keeping I do agree, especially if you are looking to get an accurate replica to the screen used props like Wayne's Urn and the official Gil Hibben Jackal. I am considering buying the prophecy stake he has made though, because that looks really cool compared to the official FX one, plus it doesn't have such a hefty price tag.

Hate to say Wayne was off on his Urn shape then. The Urn wasn't that weathered either clearly from the screen cap. That's ok we'll see if it works when you summon Osiris. I think maybe you need to look a real photos of the prop and the factory x prop replica before basing your decision on a screencap of a night scene. When making a prop replica you have to consider alot of things. Practicalitiy is one of them. You cant jist pic a screencap at random and say "oh thats wrong". Tv shows add filters to their footage. Alot of the detail is lost in those photos. The urn is full of tones and weathering. It is an ancient egyptian urn after all.

I remember talking to Paul when he tracked down those ebay-sellers cause he was VERY pissed ppl sold them. Someone put it up for 250$ I think. It isnt about the money, but still think a person wich keep bitching about all the inaccuracies others made should be able to deliver the perfect product, especially when you have the original thing to work with? BTW Waynes Urn was same price range when it came out. Looking at those both is a difference like day and night. Hate to say Wayne was off on his Urn shape then. The Urn wasn't that weathered either clearly from the screen cap. That's ok we'll see if it works when you summon Osiris. I have to wonder again, what??? Have you actually read my post? Waynes Urn has a perfect shape, besides that the original replica had a lot of different color washes. The Urn I was talking about was Pauls.

If I had to choose between the two, it would be Wayne's that came out top! Shape, colour and graphics it's far better!

well, after reading your bad experiences, I have to say I'm afraid about paul's work, it's too bad I thought he was doing great job on his replicas I've ordered faith's knife, the map of sunnydale, and the orb of thesulah... his orbe is really beautiful though, but if the knife will be as bad as on the photos above, I will cancel it about the urn, wayne's work on this prop is really good, as I said the shape and colours are correct and accurate to the one used in the show (the urn is not as smooth, there should be some cracks but it can't be perfect neither), and wayne is right about the difference between a real prop and the same prop used in the show, there are differences of light and shadows due to the camera and other effects. by the way I will maybe order one to you wayne

Well, those are actual pics of the kinfe as I have recived it. His looks good of course, mine was obviously rushed. May I ask, why do you need a map of Sunnydale? After seeing that he would have to charge about 215$+ for a Anyanka Necklace I would be carefull purchasing something without havent seen actual pictures of the item before. I wonder how much his scythe will be?

to not get lost when I will be visiting sunnydale seriously I think it's a great addition, it should be really great in a display frame as a center piece of my collection. here I guess there will be no bad surprises as I already saw it (a member on a french forum has already bought it) you're totally right here, I paid very much for these props so I will not hesitate to ask detailed photos before the shipping... I will let you know I really love my scythe, above all after the customization with your help, so I'll keep mine !!

Well I think you cant mess up too much when printing a poster You really should, also ask for changes if your not happy with anything. Anyways, glad your happy with your scythe replica, the different leather adds a lot.

I believe it was my goof, I was looking at the wrong photo somehow the text and pictures didn't line up as to which belonged to whom. So actually yours was spot on and the other was the oddly shaped.

thank you hansi ! don't worry I've already asked for changes on my orb, and I will do it again if I'm not satisfied (the orb is my favorite prop of all, so I would like to have a perfect replica) for the map it's not only a reprint, he and an "artist" have added streets and other things that were missing / forgotten, so now it's a complete map. I also bought recently the buffy premium statue (with the black dress) to display it next to angel (each time I saw these two statues displayed together on your photos I thought "I must have Buffy" ), so I'm starting to part with a lot of my buffy stuff to have enough place for everything

A "artist" huh? Intresting, I wonder how much of these stuff he does on his own... Yeah alltough Waynes PF Statues are much more detailed the Black Dress Buffy is kind of a must have... Maybe its her status why everyone wants her, hehe. I made some modifications on her hair, because I wasnt too happy with her before, also trimmed her lashed and repainted them in a depper black. All in all shes very lovely

Yes an "artist" it's why I added the "", I don't know and honestly I don't care how or with who he works, for me the most important is that I have to be pleased with the final result of the props I've bought The reason I've bought the black dress buffy is that I love this "season 1" pose so much, and that I need her to go with angel I hesitated a long time before because of the hair, would you agree to send me photos of the work you did on the hair ? We could continue this conversation in PM cause I think it's going to be out of the subject here ! =)

BTW Waynes Urn was same price range when it came out. Looking at those both is a difference like day and night. Thinking back I think I can recall that he was quite angry with me for reselling them on eBay, I could be wrong though. I mean I wasn't one of the sellers putting the price up to $250+ I just listed mine the same price I bought them for and then with my luck my Urn went from $50 to $110? and my stunt knife I think just sold for $70. It's a shame really because I would totally buy one of Wayne's Urns if he still made them... *sighs* and as far as that stunt knife goes, I strongly suggest you don't buy it!! It's really not impressive. I was really disappointed when I got mine...and it looked very similar to BA-1's pics. However, Paul has created other great works in the past. Like I said I will be buying his Prophecy stake soon when I can. and I am also quite curious to see his scythe and he also is saying he will be producing another run of the Urns but these ones will be more expensive and look more like the screen used prop.

Are you reffering to that one for 100 GBP? I think I got mine for 50$, shipping from US was about 30$ but it still paid off imo.

Yep that's the one. But earlier the person was accepting best offers... they took it down though so now I'd definitely not buy it sadly... altogether with shipping it'd be £120... I'm just gonna have to wait for a cheaper one though!
