As always, I love the hair. Still hoping you'll make a tutorial one day.
The B is close to perfect, looks as if it's made by a stamp, not by hand.
The base is also very well painted.

Wow, she looks great. I love how the necklace and the earrings are made of real materials rather than sculptured on.

thanks guys! I will defo try to do a tutorial some time. Thing is, when i sculpt, i tend to get so into it, i forget to take photos... but ill see what i can do Ive sculpted the other side of the hair, all that remains is the back. Annette originally requested BIG hair. So i used Checkpoint as reference but made it bigger haha Wayne

The hair sculpt is perfection, and really encapsulates the essence of buffy. I also love the base, great work.

I love her hair ! Also the earings, the necklace, and the wooden stake add more character to the piece. Rather then having sculpted on earings or a cross that stays in place, and a stake that doesn't even look like its made of wood. It adds a level of realism to the piece itself. Great job !

I didn't see the earrings, before i was so transfixed by everything else, they also add a nice touch as well as the stake.

Hey Guys Ive finished Buffy, quicker than expected I painted her with Black leather trousers, a lacy top and long leather coat. Annette requested super blonde hair, so its lighter than id normally paint hair of this style. I glossed her boots, eyes and lips too for a little extra touch. Here are the pictures, hope you all like Wayne

I want it so badly. But I don't even dare to ask how much it costs.
You have to tell us the backstory for this piece. Is it for a alternate senario where Buffy shows up in Not Fade Away or in After the fall and helps Angel fight in the alley?

Wayne, This piece came out of my brain right into yours and you made it REAL. I am almost speechless. Almost.
We talked and you drew a few sketches, but I never imagined it would have come out EXACTLY like I saw it in my head!!!!! I am WAY beyond thrilled. This is just an amazing work of art. There isn't one single thing I would change. I love her so much, and I admire your talent and skill today, just as I did so many years ago, when you made your first Buffy custom for me. We work very well together! Simply Superb. Annette.

Some people are wondering about the backstory for this piece. In 2006 the Board had a Where Are They Now Challenge, which I entered. It was a very simple custom of Buffy that I made with the following story as my muse.
This figure was born from my fantasy of how Angel, the Series, should have ended, this would have given me great satisfaction and would have wrapped up the Buffyverse for me. The custom was erm....OK, but I still love my thoughts on the ending of Angel, After the Fall. Here is my story:
One year after the Battle with The First Evil that destroyed Sunnydale, Cal, we, the loyal audience of the Buffyverse, find ourselves at the end of "Not Fade Away", where we left our AtS heroes, Angel, Spike, Gunn and Illyria in a dark ally, behind their beloved Hyperion Hotel, ready to be, what seemed to me anyway, on the verge of being overcome by the hordes of demons unleashed by the Senior Partners of Wolf, Ram, and Heart. In an unflinching show of courage, Angel turns to his remaining warriors and says, in the face of sure defeat, "Personally, I really want to slay the dragon". At that point we fade to black.
In my story, right after Angel's last heroic words, as if on cue, the rain stops and the clouds part to reveal a huge full moon. And then we hear an unexpected but familiar voice from the rooftop of an adjoining building of the Hyperion, a voice that rings load and clear and true, and which says, in a slightly nasal, Valley Girlish intonation:
"I'm way better at slaying vampires, but fangs are fangs! You boys, and ...er ...whatever you are (meaning Illyria), need any help?"
The camera follows that beloved familiar voice up to that roof and the audience sees Buffy, long blonde hair blowing in the demon wind. Behind her, the former potentials, now full fledged Slayers, along with Giles, Xander, Goddess Willow, Dawn, Faith and Andrew, all prepared for battle, forever at the ready to follow their fearless leader, Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
This is my interpretation of what Buffy will look like, as she comes, Once More To Save The Day![/i]
Wayne made her real. A.

Can I Be Anne, that's a pretty great backstory. Gives the custom depth, if you know what I mean.
