Aah! I heart Beecher and Keller. One of the best (though twisted) romances on TV. You've got excellent taste in TV. Great choice of parts for both. The likeness for Beecher in particular is spot on. Nice attempt with the washing machine as well. Good positions. This is a really great set. What were the recipes?

Good likenesses, Beecher especially (Keller looks a bit too Roman-nosed, perhaps?) and the figures fit together very well.
Hmm... any plans for Said?

Recipes:base-The floor is from an Anya figure. I removed the peg and repainted it. Built the washing machine out different kinds of wood(bass wood, balsa wood), used pieces of foil for the inside of washing machine and plastic for the door. Originally planned on using dolllhouse washing machine, but dimensions listed didn't seem big enough, so I had to build my own machine. Anyway... Beecher: Head is Stargate McKay. I sanded down the hair and altered the nose. Sculpted the hair and eyebrows. The torso and sleeves are Stargate O'Neil. I lenghtened the torso some and sculpted thepocket on his shirt, the bottom part of the shirt and also did some sculpting on the sleeves. The left arm is from a soccer figure.I boiled the hands to reposition the fingers and sculpted over it to bulk it up. the right arm is in two parts. The hand/ top part of the upper arm is from the same figure. From the sleeve to about the middle of the upper arm is a different soccer figure. I removed part of the web between the finger thumb to reposition the thumb. Legs are McFarlane Shaft. I bulked up the legs, hips, and butt.I sculpted the left front pocket, belt loops in back and back pockets. Feet are NECA Crow. I sculpted the shoelaces. Keller- Head is Stargate Quinn. I sanded down the original hair. Sculpted the forehead, eyebrows, nose, jawline, and chin. Torso is Deluxe 50's Angel. Bent it forward slightly at the articulation point to get the proper posture. Sculpted over torso completely to bulk it up, widened shoulders, sculpted tank top. Arms are in parts- top part is a chunk of NECA Die Hard, then a bicep I just sculpted by hand, then Mcfarlane Locke arms, which I sanded down to reduce bulkiness and cut off the too- big hands and replaced w/ New Moon Edward hands. Top part of the legs are from a soccer figure- Sanded down and sculpted over. Sculpted the side pockets, back pockets, belt loops, butt and waistband. Right leg is from Matrix Neo. Made a cast to use for the other leg , but it didn't turn out right below the knee, so I sculpted the left leg below the knee. Feet are NECA Beetlejuice Thanks to you both for comments . They are always much appreciated. Sasha- I agree w/ on the Beecher and Keller romance.Definitely one of the best ;D CraigO- Yes, I have plans(and parts) for Said

Great likeness, I'm glad that you use stargate heads for likeness, those are really good figures.

I'm even more impressed with this extremely complicated list of parts and sculpting. You did a great job of melding the parts together to form proportionate bodies. Wonderful!

From one customizer to another you did a nice job at the two together. I've been getting better and better at figures together...it's quite the difficult task. Thanks for pointing that out...I don't think people get how DIFFICULT it is to take an assortment of pieces from many action figure lines and work them together...and make it look good. (I'm trying so hard to not comment on my lastest piece)...
Do you have any before shots of your work? I'm always curious to see how others sculpt around random bits.
The last comment, remember that 1:12 scale doll house stuff is the perfect size for 6 inch action figure sets. I'm not sure if you knew this, if not, you do now!

MasterPizza- Thanks for the comments. Yes,I agree the Stargate heads turned out good for likenesses. When I first saw prototype pics of McKay, I thought it would make a good likeness for Beecher. Finding a likeness for Keller, however, proved much tougher, but in the end Quinn was the closest I could find, though I had to modify it a lot. Sasha- Thanks again for the comments. This project was difficult for me, w/ all the sculpting and positioning. And trying to get everything looking as exact as I could. Wasn't sure if I'd be able to pull it off. jamersy- Nice hear comments from you. I don't take in progress shots of my work , so no "before" photos. Next time I do a custom w/ a lotta parts I will try to get some in progress photos for you . And yeah, I'm aware of the scale of dollhouse miniatures. I've used dollhouse miniatures and components for customs quite a few times. Most of my customs tend to be more towards 6.5-7 inches which is too big for some dollhouse furniture, but for accessories and wallpaper/flooring is usually okay. For this piece, Beecher is about 7 inches tall, and the dollhouse washing machines I saw woulda been 1/2 inch to 1 inch too short .
