What is it ?It's a Buffyverse Tableau, the only difference is that it represents 2 scenes in 2 differents places but that are showed simultaneously in the show ... and made by 2 different customizers : jamersy & I ;D How it all started2 customizers, 2 countries, 1 PassionWell, it's all about sharing the same passion and the willing to try something new, something original. I admire jamersy's work : amazing and complete playsets with all the little details and he also like my work, so we thought "why not making something together ? Could be great fun !". The miles that seperate us don't really matter. The willing to share ideas and help each other took the head. It's so nice to be 2 and encourage the other one. Here we goWe're gonna put, as often as we can, new in progress pictures of our work. Here they are : The bases :James is making the scene where Willow is doing the spell with Oz and Cordelia to get Angel's soul back and I'm making the part when Buffy is facing Angelus. The customs :Let us know what you think

Very nice! Love those details on willows table. The paintjob on Acathla is stunning and so is the Ivy wall base!

Wow, Mango, you did a nice job at setting all this up. I think this should be great fun. I never posted IP work before so this should be fun and something to keep looking forward to.
Mango is an amazing person to work with and I hope we can collaboarte more in the future. I never thought I'd find a common friend with what I do, so this is so rewarding for me.
If you remember Cordy's shirt....wow, that's going to take some serious concentration!! Stay tuned!

The ivy wall base and Acathla looks great. So Jamersy is making Willow, Cordy, and Oz. And Mango is making Buffy. Right?

She's making Buffy and Angel (and the set to go along with that). I'm making the hospital scene where Willow gets "posessed" by the gypsy to help her make the soul.
I know--I love the wall and Acathla, too. Mango (Nathalie) is such a talented painter.

I like the idea of 2 customizers working together. Everything is looking great so far.

Looks great so far!
I always thought this would be a great idea for a challenge, but was never sure how the logistics of it would work out on a grand scale

This is so exciting to do. I hope I can do more sets with Mango (or anyone). I'm hoping to have some newer things added by this weekend. It is report card and parent/teacher conferences coming next week so I've been pretty busy day and night with this stuff. I'm done with Cordy and Oz is coming along slowly...

Looks great so far! I always thought this would be a great idea for a challenge, but was never sure how the logistics of it would work out on a grand scale Exactly! Jess and I were just talking about this. I think it would be a good idea for the Summer Challenge. Either for people to pair up like this, or perhaps for all the participating customisers to decide on an episode or theme together and make sequential scenes.

Count me in! I would love to see if we could make the army of slayers (all the potentials that had some sort of a role) The customizer could choose the scene that they liked that best showcases thier personalty. I'd love to see how creative we can get and what parts we'd use for characters that are not popular or often made. I've got dibs on the black chick or the tall skinny, oval headed gal. Don't know how I'd make either of them..... Okay, I'd better post some pictures or I'll be totally taking the attention off our pieces.... Cordy without hair: Cordy with hair: I know she has big hair, but this was season 2 hair!

Great idea Mango, very good repaint of the demon and Wilow is coming really good, Interesting Cordelia, she actually has a very good likeness without the hair. Both are doing a great job, keep working.

I'm really pleased to read all people's reactions about our project. But I have to say that the idea comes from Jamersy : he asked me if I would accept to do something with him and I was nicely surprised and accepted, and suggested the Acathla scene. My Buffy is still in progress. I started to paint it but it's not finished yet. Hope to be able to show picture in the week

I have the hospital floor done! Ha ha ha. The back wall is more of a challenge than I'm used to. I'm a stickler for details so I'm just trying to find the right pieces. My goal is to have new things (or painted things??) by this time next week. This is going to be a CRAZY busy week for me!
Mango is a wonderful person to work with--she gives honest feedback which keeps me challenged. I like that. I'm dying to see her Buffy. The attention she gives to her painting! You'll have people lined up to buy your customs!! (can I get a sneak peak of your Buffy, first? hee hee).
