Those little figures look really amazing, like Spike and Angel, the Master look really good. I should start to collect them.

The Master looks good but again, so did Buffy as the prototype. However the Buffy figurine I have looks like a man (with very thick eyebrows) in a blond wig.  Perhaps the monsters in the collection would look better when released. |

I agree that the Buffy one looked better in pictures, but it didn't look this good.
This also says that the line has been extended. Eaglemoss only originally planned on 10 figurines and the master wasn't on that list.
I think the master looks great and hope it looks good when I get my hands on it also.

Right we've had word from an anonymous member of EM that there is a danger that Faith could potentially be the last of this series of special figures. So before the decision gets made, we've decided to set up an online petition to try more of them made! So if your a fan of the collection or show, please sign the petition (use your real name) and spread the word to really support the cause. Also if your undecided about whether to buy the figures or waiting for a future one, I'd suggest going and buying them now to ensure we got any other beyond Faith made! Dam, they suck! maybe if they made them better and did not take so long to bring them out. I just want Cordy and Darla. buffduffdan, could you/we email them to get any word from them? Maybe they could give us Faith, Cordy, Willow and Xander becasue they would sell the best right?  |

Cancelled? I am not surprised. The service from Eaglemoss has been crap. Buffy ordered, not received until phone calls later, Angel received all banged up, Spike ordered mid-August, over a month later not here, more calls and they are clueless as to why the order has not gone through and I am still waiting. All the calls to order them are too expensive, 10p a minute and they keep you holding on ages. If you order online the order does not necessarily go through, so yeah, pretty miffed at spending lots of time and money trying to buy their product which looks barely like the prototype. |

Well I think Giles was planned (not definite I add) as the one for after Faith but due to sales I'd imagine they haven't decided if it's worth carrying on after. Any other sites we can get this posted on would be handy. I agree vicks that EM service isn't great. I've ordered Spike twice now and both orders have gone "missing". But even so I still like to campaign for this collection as I just for it for the price and what you get. Perfect? No, but still damn good |

For the total price and all the annoyance involved in trying to order these no wonder the sales are bad. Customers, and particularly the casual ones, are looking for simple way to buy what they want - order it, pay for it, receive it. Make it hard on them and the trouble of ordering would overcome their interest in the product - resulting in poor sales. So signing petitions won't solve the problem because the problem of lack of interest is not rooted in the product but rather in the company itself. If Eaglemoss want to save the line they need to work on their customer service and fix the ordering system. Other than hard core fans, only so few would bother to place orders 2-3 times, waste time and money calling the customer service and wait over month for the items to arrive. |

Agreed the petition alone isn't likely to save it but still worth a shot. Anyway been chatting with the editor of the mag and mentioned a lot of people who've had issues with customer service, problems ordering, etc. So what we would like is a list of problems as such. If you have experienced such issues then let us know. Please be specific in what's gone wrong, how EM have tried to solve it, who you've dealt with (phone/email) if you have a name, etc. Please don't just rant but try to be detailed with genuine things that have gone wrong (nothing like: I don't like the costume Buffy is wearing or whatever  ) I'm asking on the Superhero Figurine Forum too. Then I'll compile info from both forums and send to Alan. Hopefully things will be done to try and improve, or at least go on to explain the lower sales figures and possibly help get more. Issue 1: Ordered 2X Buffy online. Waited 28 days. Had to call at 10p per minute and hang on the line. Asked why had I not received the order. EM say "Oh, the orders don't always go through". Apparently, I am a mind reader and should know this. Re-order again. Wait another 28 days. Parcel arrives, 2 magazines and 2 Buffys, no packing, magazines damaged, one Buffy out of box.
Issue 2: Ordered Angel by phone at 10p per minute. Waits 28 days. No Angel. Waits so more, Angel arrives finally. No packing materials in box, magazine ripped and covered in a white substance, could be chalk, could be mold.
Issue 3: Spike. Ordered mid-August (13th or 14thth something like that) via phone 10p per minute, on ages. Credit card statement showed charge August 21st. Waits 28 days, no Spike. Called EM September 25th, 10p per minute. Speak to customer service operator who checks order, she has no idea why the order has not gone out and states this to me. Says she placed the item on the system again. Still waiting to date.
Quality Control: frankly for the price the quality control sucks. The paint jobs are spotty and amaturish to the point it looks like a child's paint by numbers. I said before, I didn't know Angel was African-American and Buffy was a bloke!
Through it all, I have continued and supported the line because it is Buffy. But, me chasing EM and then getting junk is hard to stomach. The best of the fun is EM would be quick enough to get onto me if my payment defaulted. You don't even get a meaningful apology or even a "We really screwed up again, if you order next time, tell the operator XXXX for 10% off". I keep being told on the phone that my call is really important to EM, but apparently it isn't. And I wish someone would tell them to change their hold music!
Yes its a rant, but its a legitimate one.

My Spike finally turned up about 5 weeks after release date. EM are crap but I have been lucky with my figures so far. Good paint & likeness on all 3. (sorry Vicks)
