Hey Guys,

Alan Cowsill from Eaglemoss was kind enough to reply to my email with some more details about this upcoming line. As well as few more images which I'm waiting for his approval to show.

Meanwhile here are the highlights of all that he said:

The Buffy Specials are linked to the DVD collection that was released last year but fans (like myself) who already have all the DVDs should be able to buy copies from their local comic shop or via the official Eaglemoss Buffy site at www.buffycollection.com/index_uk.html

The first figurine, Buffy, is released in mid-March at £9.99 and comes with a 20 page magazine with all-new features about the show. We've managed to get artwork form the artist of the never released Cartoon show (which looked ace) and look at Buffy's role in creating a new genre on TV and the recently released Buffy Season Eight comic form Dark Horse.

If everything goes according to plan, we should be releasing four of the specials are year. After Spike (special 3) we have Faith and then (but possibly not in this order) Drusilla, Giles, Willow, Xander, Darla, Cordelia and The Master. We're also hoping to do a special Buffy display plinth for ten figurines.

the figrurines will be around the same scale as the Marvel and DC collections we presently produce, made of lead and hand painted

Of course in order to help this line succeed we need to spread the word on these figures so be sure to mention them in other forums you visit.

Also, if you guys have inquiries/questions, post them here and in several days I would email them to Alan Cowsill.

Lior, thanks for posting the images, I have put them over on my forum too (with links back to here). We have been dealing closely with Eaglemoss for a couple of years now with the DC and CMFC rane of figurines and we are firm believers that the more information which gets out onto the net the better for them.

I have asked Al to clarify the initial run of figures; down the pub I thought he said 12, then confirmation e-mail he sent said 10 but with the list he sent you it comes to 11.....

must have been better beer than I thought LOL

Electra (on the left) is 8.5cm in height so I make Bufffy to be maybe 9cm.

The Spike figure looks really good as does the Angel, The Buffy figure is a bit off.
I am hoping that after Buffy, Angel, Spike and Faith that they make Giles, Xander, Willow, Cordy, Oz and Drusilla, a Kendra figure would be nice as well as The Master, Darla, Tara, Anya, Dawn and so many others.

Oh I like the look of these! The bodies are very well sculpted. Spike and Angel in particular look amazing. The likenesses are a bit weak, but good enough considering their tiny size.

A must for any Buffy fan I would have thought. ;D

LOL! Well, I guess a save bet would be to say 10-12 figures run.

Either way, I hope we do see all of those.

Does anyone think that maybe, just maybe, this line will complete the line-up of twelve main actors?

I just want all 12 main credits cast in one line-up! I don't know why this concept is so hard for so many companies to grasp.

Angel and Spike look great, I like the non-exagerated poses, and Buffy looks fantastic. That captures the early Buffy really well, and I hope they'll make a few more of her down the line. After Anya. And Riley.
