I think my favorite is Breaking Dawn and my least favorite is New Moon. Also are they making Breaking Dawn into a movie or just the first 3.

Hopefully they will make Breaking Dawn into a movie. It will be interesting to see how they do it.

I know! I was wondering why only the first 3 are contracted, when there are four... And the Fourth was the best! I would love to see how they would go about casting "Renesme"

It's interesting to hear how everyone loves Breaking Dawn, as to me it felt like the weakest of all the four. Twilight is still my favourite of the four Maybe i just don't like a happy ending!!!

I love all of the Twilight saga, but my favourite is Twilight. I wasn't keen on New moon because of how it centred around Jacob. I think we will eventually get all the movies as i can't see them just doing 2 and stopping at that.

So, Dakota Fanning is rumored to be playing Jane in New Moon? Thoughts?

That would be cool. She'd be good for that role.

I am currently reading New Moon and am really enjoying it, but from what has been said on here, I have more to look forward to in the third and fourth books! I went to see Twilight a few weeks ago (I only started reading the first book after Christmas, so wanted to finish it before seeing the movie) and I really enjoyed it. Even though there was some stuff cut out, and not enough of Alice, I thought it stuck so closely to the book and the essence of it, the true and eternal love of Edward and Bella. I also loved the way it was shot, very grainy and dull. I went with a friend who has not read the books, and she loved it too (and is now going to read the books lol) I am so looking forward to the next film!

I watched Twilight last night. To me, the movie Twilight (I haven't read the books, nor do I care to) is a rehash of the first few episodes of Buffy:
- Bella moves to a new town (or back to an old one rather) and meets a mysterious, handsome young man who just happens to be a vampire...just like Buffy.
- Before Edward's true identity is revealed, he protects Bella...just like Angel.
- Edward is one of a few "good" vampires...just like Angel.
- Bella and Edward are attracted to one another...just like Buffy and Angel.
- Edward tries to resist Bella, but he feels inextricably drawn to her...just like Angel.
- Bella throws caution to the wind and pursues a romantic relationship...just like Buffy.
- Drama ensues...just like Buffy!!!
That's three-quarters of the movie Twilight right there. The biggest difference between Buffy and Twilight is that Buffy is actually FUN and FUNNY! Twilight is boring and derivative.
But hey, maybe the next Twilight movie will be better. A few of the episodes in the first season of Buffy suck, but season 2 (and onward) rocks.

I think the book is far better than the movie. I like the movie and seeing the characters brought to life, but the book just gives us a better feel of the characters. And did anybody else think when Edward first spoke to Bella in the lab that he sounded like...not him? He sounds like...he has some other accent that isn't English... GaGa~Vampyr

I agree, and made my own similar conclusions to the ones you've stated. I watched Twilight for the second time last night, and I have to say, it is one of the slowest films i've ever watched. Terrible visual effects. Terrible acting. It was okay, and I enjoyed some parts, but compared to some of the reviews i've read, and the huge fanbase it has achieved in such a short space of time, I just don't get the hype surrounding it. Perhaps the books are better.
