Sadly sometimes it happens that sellers don't protect enough their items (it's why when I buy to new sellers, I always ask them to protect the item very well just in case), but here it's too much... it's terrifying I've bought Buffy EOD without the foam from a very nice person on ebay US (I'm in France) and she really protected it very well, unfortunately she arrived with the ponytail broken, there was an insurance, but neither the postal services in France nor in USA wanted to do something. Why ? Because I took the parcel, I should have refuse it, to have the possibility to receive the refund... so at last in my opinion unfortunately an insurance is not worth it when you buy/sell abroad, it's just extra money. Finally we found an arrangement with the seller and she sent me a partial refund I'm really happy that in your case you've had a total refund, because it's really awful that people don't realize how much these statues are fragile By the way, IMO the Willow Tiki statues are too much fragile so I sold mine and just kept Buffy OMWF, Spike and Faith, which are not as fragile

I am sorry. But I am just shocked at this. Why would anyone be such an idiot as to pack this ALREADY VERY FRAGILE STATUE IN PAPER TOWELS?!?!!?!?!?!?!??!?!?! WHAT. REALLY?!?! IT USED TO BE IN FOAM PADDING. I would have hit the roof if I received this in the post. I would have probably opened a case, got my money back, kept the statue, AND left negative feedback just for being freaking stupid. I am sure you will fix her though, trust me I know how hard it is to piece this girl back together I have done it twice already and it aint pretty!! Since your base is in pieces just be very cautious. I wouldn't want you to fix her all up and then her fall again because the base couldn't hold her up. Make sure it is 100% sturdy before displaying her on there. I also find it very helpful to wedge two pieces of cardboard between her feet and the base to keep her upright and not leaning. It then prevents the chances of her leaning and falling, and these Willow tikis (I think only Tough Love ones have this problem not Dark Willows) lean forward very much...

It then prevents the chances of her leaning and falling, and these Willow tikis (I think only Tough Love ones have this problem not Dark Willows) lean forward very much... I had the same problem with my Tough Love Willow, which leaned forward more and more every day I even tried to warm the flames with a hairdryer to be able to correct it, and then put it in the fridge a moment to keep the good position, but it restarted to lean forward some days later, I've also had an idea that was to add/glue 2 (transparent) pegs under her foot, then make 2 holes on the base to hold them; but finally I prefered to part with her even if I really loved her (it was my favorite Tiki...) At last it's a pity that they didn't made a better base to hold her, I've always been angry against the Tiki factory for that bad point (and for not having made an Angel Tiki, too but that's another story lol)

Looking for advice on prices. I found a guy in my town looking to seal his EOD Buffy, OMWF Buffy, Red Faith, White Faith, Spike, and Glory Electric Tiki statues. He says $600 Canadian for the lot, but will sell individually. I don't really like the Spike statue, and don't need the Red Faith or Glory. He doesn't have the boxes. What does everyone think would be a fair price price for the Buffy OMWF and EOD and the White Faith without the boxes? Thanks

What does everyone think would be a fair price price for the Buffy OMWF and EOD and the White Faith without the boxes? Thanks Here's a little side note: Today ( Monday 25/08/2014). 600 CAD = 546.59743 USD = $91.10 (USD) per Statue On Statues I'd break it down 3 ways: (1) Only Statue by itself. (2) Statue w/ Certificate & NO Box and (3) Statue w/ Certificate & Box. Based on which category it falls under you may also negotiate price on condition of overall items as well. If statues are damaged, scratched, missing pieces this would drop the price significantly. Sense I don't collect the statues I don't have a price value for the original cost, but I would try to come close to retail price at time of release if at all possible or pay under current market price. Example of current open market price: www.ebay.com/itm/Electric-Tiki-BUFFY-SUMMERS-OMWF-maquette-statue-ARTIST-PROOF-Vampire-Slayer-/141386592375?pt=US_Comics_Figurines&hash=item20eb4c3077www.ebay.com/itm/Buffy-the-Vampire-Slayer-End-Of-Days-All-Tooned-Up-Buffy-Sideshow-Statue-/231311854100?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35db42ca14www.ebay.com/itm/Faith-Red-Shirt-Buffy-the-Vampire-Slayer-Tooned-Up-Figure-Statue-14-150-Sideshow-/231308191394?pt=US_Comics_Figurines&hash=item35db0ae6a2

Got the EOD Buffy, OMWF Buffy, and White Faith for $235CND. I went low to start the negotiations, but he took it without a counter offer! I'm excited to pick them up I would have bought all 6 if I got a deal and try to sell the others, but shipping these without the original packaging just seems way too dangerous and difficult! EDIT: He offered all 6 for $300, so I obviously took it! He had the Willows, but they broke beyond repair in a move, and since he's moving again he doesn't want to risk the other 6. I guess I might try to get a deal on the Willows from somewhere and I'll have a complete set (I'll just hide Spike in the background :-p) EDIT 2: Just got them. Surprise surprise there were actually two Spikes! And wouldn't you know it, I very barely touched the stake-hand on OMWF just to push it in and it twisted and broke a small chunk of Buffy's sleeve plastic cement has repaired it, but these things are so fragile I'm terrified something else will break! I'll post a pic when I get them on a shelf.

Actually he was local. Found the items through a local classifieds site. I felt like I ripped him off, but he offered the price! I'm pretty pleased
