I don't know- I thought the original MAC versions of Faith were pretty great- I wish they'd just use the original head sculpts with the new, better-articulated bodies- Mr. B

Faith and Buffy are sharing bodies, also the face of Faith is horrible but that isn't new all Faith figures even Mac. they have a bad face, the face of Eliza is more rounded. Finally what is the deal with the neck joint, it's really weird.

That's one perspective, to be sure. But while judging the quality of a likeness remains an excercise in subjectivity, I still think that the MAC sculpts were quite good, and I don't think that I'm alone. (It's useful to recall that MWC reckoned the MAC sculpt of Faith as deserving of four asterisks, and I defer (99.76% of the time) to his aesthetic discrimination. www.mwctoys.com/REVIEW_090604.htm ). I agree that the MAC Faith's do look the best out of all versions it still looks nothing like Eliza.
The statue looks a little better than the figures.
Even without the scan DST should have been committed to outdoing the MAC sculpts. (like they have with the regular line)
No doubt though the MAC sculpt is better than this.

I really like the old Faith, see... Now the new Faith is starting to piss me off though and actually the OMWF Buffy is irritating me as well but the AFX pics of Faith actually look good as do the other pictures of OMWF Buffy I've seen so things could end up well

I definetly agree Glory.
I like the old Faith a lot! And the newer photos of OMWF Buffy and the Faiths are just gettin me mad! The Buffy looks...not so right in the face. Too pale, and just off. And I see likeness in the Faiths, but the preportions are off too. Her browline is just huge, and her eyes are not big enough. Also I noticed that her face is too big altogether! Look at her jaw, and forehead.

I figured out the problem with OMWF Buffy. Her skin tone needs to be darker and that hair piece needs to be moved down some more. Look at it in comparision to Grad Day Buffy. The heads are the same, but on OMWF the hair seems to have slipped back some.

i agree the omwf buffy is just going downhill, she looks too pale and looks like she has rings around her eyes. I really like the idea of this figure, but im going to be really disappointed if it doesn't come out to well.

Sarah Michelle Gellar actually has real light skin but usually when we see her she has a fake tan. For a few episodes here and there throughout seasons 5-7 you could see that when she didn't tan, Sarah would get pale or palish. When it came to early season 6, Sarah had pretty pale skin and if you look at screencaps of her in the light during "Life's a Show", you really see it. I think the problem is that the contrast of colors is too much! The eye brows are much to dark and thick, the eyes are bluish (Sarah has GREEN eyes!), and the lips stand out just a bit but this could all be changed with painting. I think Flobbster is right about the hair though, it's way too high up!

I think OMWF Buffy looks like a man.....sorry. Eyebrows are too dark, and the hair looks orange to me....I think this was just a bad variant choice altogether...it's more suited for the regular line

Agree OMWF Buffy seems like an odd choice. From memory it wasn't a hugely "action packed" episode necessarily deserving of a super-articulated version of Buffy (as opposed to something like Becoming).
Does anyone know what is up with Bad Girls/Graduation Day Faiths?
The initial pictures had the darker haired/dark make-up Faith head on the Bad Girls body. The most recent pictures have the darker haired/dark make-up Faith head on the Graduation Day body?!
I much prefer the darker haired/dark make-up version of Faith. BUT I don't know which Faith to pre-order, Bad Girls or Graduation Day. To me BOTH these figures should have the "darker" look as that is what Faith sported in season 3 and only EOD Faith should have the lighter hair and make-up.
Also, all the jacketed figures (GD Buffy and Faith and EOD Buffy and Faith) definitely come with the jacket arms and "bare" arms don't they? Does anyone know/recall what type of shirt Faith was sporting in GD under the jacket? Were there sleeves, or will it be bare armed?
Still looking forward to these figures. I just wish they'd reach some sort of consensus on what they're actually going to look like and what they're coming with.
Cheers, Haeph.

I think the outfit of Sarah in once more, it isn't so interesting like for example hush outfit with pink shirt. Also this outfit is so plain, she doesn't have other arms or cool weapons.

Looking at this pic: I cant see any facial likeness to any of them!! Whats happened? In the promo shots OMWF buffy looks great, but on here her nose looks so pointy and horrible. And i agree with what everyone else has said, about her hair and eyes(brows) The MAC series 2 Buffy looked a bit wierd head on but from the side it has a great likeness to SMG. Maybe its just the angle the photos at but, if the final product looks like that, then there is no way im buying any of them

Does it look to anyone else, like the jacketed figures don't have ball-jointed shoulders?
Bad Girls Faith and OMWF Buffy still have ball-jointed shoulders, but the "jacketed" figures only appear to have "swivel" shoulders?
Hopefully its just a stand in while they adapt the figures to have "swappable" jacket and non-jacket arms like SOTA's Adventure Lara Croft.
Cheers, Haeph.

Your probably right about the arms. The non-jacketed figs have ball-joints. I REALLY hope the arms aren't like Lara Croft, because mine comes out REALLY easy I DEFINATELY think Bad Girls Faith NEEDS the dark make-up, she was my favourite and the Faith I was going to buy, but if she hasn't I wouldn't buy it

i think the jacketed figures come with a set of bare arms, so only the jacket will not have ball joints.
for example; end of days buffy does not have ball joints until you switch to bare arms.
