You guys have Aladdin's Flying Carpets?!?! I'm so jealous. We don't have those! What are they like? Maria, dont be jealous, its like a circle round ride you see at little town fairs, only made up to look like the carpets. Not very thrilling at all. -Val Oh, OK. for the woman: Remember to give your husband a good meal every once in a while he deserves it. Never disagree with your husband in front of someone else or you might as well just kick him in the balls. Always speak pleasently about his mom. Let him THINK hes in charge all the while knowing you are.
for the man: LET YOUR WIFE SHOP. Backrubs get you favors of your OWN.... Understand that we are as particular about our purse brands and makeup brands as you are about your beer and tools, so asking us to buy generic stuff is like begging for payback.
What surprised you most about being married?
Not much to be honest, only cause we had been together SO long. We worked out all the compatibility issues early. But as for the Wedding, I was suprised at how much moolah we got!
Do you want kids?
Some day, as long as they DONT touch my toys.
How many?
2 no more no less :-) Its like puppies, once you got one to clean up after, might as well have two.
When?
Soon hopefully, my hubby is 15 years older than me, so hes 42. I dont want to wait til hes an old man :-)

I get clostrophobic very easily, so when I do go I try to go when its not peak time. I just really prefer a rented movie at home.

Its hard for me to say overall, I try to have little goals every day. I am very proud when I sell a custom, and ESPECIALLY when I get an email after they are recieved saying it looks better in person, or whatever. That pleases me immensly. Its nice to have someone else appreciate something you spend so much time on. You know?
What are you most grateful for in your life? Why?
My husband #1. He is my Best Friend, I can not imagine my life without him, he is smart, honest, hardworking, softspoken, polite, sexy, funny, Absolutely everything I want to spend the rest of my life with. I am also very grateful that I have never lost one of my close relatives(immediate family).
What do you think of Oprah?
I hate her, I picture her sitting there on her solid gold toilet, whipeing her butt with 1000.00 bills. But I know alot of peoplw like her so, if she brings some happiness, ok whatever.

Im young, so I dont know anything about the good old days, Unless you mean when I was very young..in which case..I remember my rubix cube, stretch armstrong, Twirly Curls barbie, eating runts and nerds, watching saved by the bell. Ok thats enough of that.
Why do you prefer selling your own figures and buying other people's figures? Are there any of your own that you've held onto?
Maria, I dont feel like its art unless someone else enjoys it. I have always been that way. I know Ive made a good custom when, I think about keeping it (I have high standards). But no I never keep any.
What made you start customizing? When did you start? What tricks or skills do you think improved your customs the most?
I saw some websites, Flobbsters and Ms Bigs, and was in complete AWE. I loved the figs, the idea of having whatever I wanted REALLY appealed to me. So I started collecting first. All the while thinking, I can do this... But I waited a little while. I actually made my first couple of customs over Christmas weekend (cause I was off work). I was hooked from then on. I tried to DRAG my two internet friends in with me. I did manage to rope Jess :-)

No, he just rolls his eyes when Im in my dungeon ..I mean work area. Hes actually very supportive in that hes totally honest, if somethings crap he will usually let me know. If its great he will let me know too.

Ok from Buffy.... Clare Kramer, Nick Brendon, Juliet Landau, Emma Caulfield and Alyson Ha nnigan. From angel David Boreanaz, James Marsters, Mercedes McNab, Alexis Denisoff and Christian Kane. I would serve Werewolf like they did in that Angel ep and Blood like they did in the Wish. J/K I dont know what I would serve, but I know it would be VERY hot in that room with those hunks in there so maybe ice cream?
4) What custom do you want to try, but will never attempt?
I have a list of 50+ that I want to try. But I dont think I would ever specifically rule any out. I actually set out to try the harder ones first. Cause its fun to challenge myself to see if I can pull it off.

I have an office in my house that is also my buffy shrine and craft room. I spend the most time in this room. I have alot of comforts in here, A TV video games, leather couch, work table, computer, scrapbook supplies, custom stuff and my entire buffy collection on the walls and on shelves.

Ok, I will give you an example of some of these as they relate to buffy customs..
I am a greedy when it comes to getting as many customs as I can. I ENVY Scullows Custom Collection. I am Proud of my own custom collection. I LUST after Ms Bigs Lornette in Beckys collection.

My Mom lives about a mile away, my grandparents too. So I see them alot and talk to them alot. My parents divorced when I was young, I have never really met my dad. What would I do the same or different. Thats really hard to say cause for one I grew up in a different era, things are weird now, there are so many things you have to teach a kid nowadays that we never thought about when I was young. But for the most part I cant give this question a decent answer cause Im not there yet, you know. Everything changes when a kid comes into the picture.

I work as a closing agent at a title company. I handle closings for vacant land and homes.

I never went to college , I started working very early (16). I did take some classes at community college for Insurance License and such.
I worked at Burdines (Macys), Winn Dixie, 2 Insurance Offices and I was also a nanny for awhile.
My husband was in the navy for four years during Desert Storm and went to College for his teaching degree.
