Couldn't see another thread on this so sorry if this is old news.
Just recieved my vampire Angel Puppet from FP, it's a lot better than the first (I never got the second).
I love it!

woot!
I got the first and then sold it on ebay for over $200. I can't wait for this one, though. It looks pretty awesome. BCC is charging my card on the 30th at my request, so I should have mine next week.

My Puppet arrived from Forbidden Planet despite a letter a couple of weeks ago heralding a September release, oh well.
I have to say I am slightly disappointed, I'd appreciate comments if other puppets are different:
I cannot undo the duster as my buttons are sewed to the jacket, on the other two I have been able to open them, cos let's face it, how often did Angel wear the jacket done up, puppet or other wise?
The hairline on mine is really far back so the puppet looks like he has a massive forehead, receding Angel!
No removable nose or anything special (just the magnetic opening mouth).
Disappointing, the first puppet was good, the battle damaged version came on leaps and bounds and is amazing, this vampire version had the potential to be the best and IMO is sadly lacking and its a shame.
So, can anyone undo their jackets?

Aww... that sucks that this one isnt as good as the last ones. I didnt get the last two, and was hoping on maybe picking this one up. But hearing about it in person, I might have to go and pick up battle damaged or original puppet angel... although who knows how much that will cost me! My mom's like "Why do you want a puppet?!" hah. My BF too lol. No one understands the irresistible cuteness of Puppet Angel!!!

I can't wait to get mine. I have emailed the BCC to see exactly when they will be shipping. I'm hoping for a response by tomorrow.

So I got a response this morning and I was told that they are trying to ship them out before this weekend begins. Which I guess means that I will get mine some time next week, probably after the holiday. I usually get my items the next day unless a weekend or holiday is around the day that they ship.

I got my puppet Yesteryday from Forbidden Planet and the buttons on ANGEL do open up. I still think the battle damaged one is much better.

Ok so I got a response from the BCC about shipping:
Hi Jason- We are working through the weekend with the goal to have at least all of the Vamp Angel Puppets with US addresses shipped by Monday. We are closed on Tuesday and will finish up any leftover US plus Canada (via Express) on Wednesday. Then finish off the week shipping the rest of the international orders. There's a lot on our plate in July with SDCC plans, the Dlx Angel/Spike wave which hits on July 19 (while we are at SDCC). We also have a lot of Stargate customers with that first wave of figures about to arrive too, and then we are into Wizard World Chicago plans by end of month, so we will be very busy all month! Thanks again, Kevin
I just hope that I get mine by Wednesday, then I will have all three puppets. I can't wait to get this as well as "Primeval" Buffy and the Deluxe Angel/Spike line next month. What a busy month.

Got my 'little chap' today and I rather like him. Yes, in this version they have made his head bigger, but it doesn't look any the worse for that though. I have to be honest and say, well no, the head is not a very good likeness of the vamp puppet, but I suppose that this is the best we're gonna get so I caved in and bought it. I still find it a bit of a mystery that they took all that time, supposedly took measurements of the real one to still end up getting it wrong. Oh well........

I got a shipping notice today and will get my Puppet on Wednesday. I can't wait to get this one and have my puppet collection completed. I still wish that they could get the license to do figures of these puppets in 6" figure scale. I'd buy all 3 of them, plus it'd probably be a little easier to sculpt them for better accuaracy.
