How tall are these figures? Are they not going to be small like the x-men and marvel ones? If so, what the heck is up with the price? 47.99 special pre order price? That is a heck of a lot... I would much rather spend the money on real figures!

Even these 3-D samples look VERY nice. I'll probably pick up at least a few of them. It was earlier stated that these figures would have little likeness to the REAL characters, but the likeness is amazing for what they are!

I think they look good. But I will probably pass on them too. They have always reminded me of the lego men.

I would much rather spend the money on real figures! The Buffy block figures will be approx 2 1/2 inches tall. A little bigger than Mini-Mates (which are 2 inches) and about the same size as Kubricks. The pre-order price shocked me as well. I didn't think they'd be that expensive. We really should wait and see what the case assortment and availability is like though.

They look really cool but really expensive. I'll really have to see them in person before I consider spending that much money on them -- and even then, I'll definitely have to be choosey about which one(s) I want. Right now I'm thinking Giles, if his separately-packaged price is okay.

Wow those are adorable, i really like them. They would fit right in with my pulp fiction block figures. I think i am going hold off on pre ordering them though. Like several people said above the price seems a little steep. Plus i am sure other retailers will have them.

Its very odd that they are so expensive... The marvel ones are what? 2 for 6.99... So these ones would be $7.99 at the sale price, and 9.99 at regular price. WOW! Thats a lot for a lego guy...

Agreed, they seem a expensive. But, like Miss Edith, if I do get any at all it will be Giles ... he is just too cute in his little suit with his glasses! It sounds like the price is not in the figures but in the accessories, etc., maybe?

Well I assumed this is what they would look like. I don't know, I'm just not into these. If they would have looked more like the little freddy and jason someone posted then maybe.

I think I'll wait, Im sure these are great (especially Darla), but I think I want to finish buying the full range 6" or 12" figures first.

Aw, man, to bad they aren't in scale with my Marvel Minimates.
They're still pretty cool, but I'l wait until I see the actual product before deciding.
I like the double-head idea. It's better than buying another figure.

OMG! I love them! I like the block figures, and these are gonna be great! It's so nice to see all of the things that have happened with the Buffy license since the show ended. I never would have guessed that we'd get prop replicas, and block figures even! Joss was so right when he predicted that Buffy would live outside of the show, and become a media icon. I'm so happy.

Hmm, I don't think I will be geting these, they are pretty cool but I think I'll save up for Anya and Tara . I think these block figures look too much like lego.

i think the head turning thing is a brilliant idea to get a vamp and non-vamp version! I hope we get a vamp willow and vamp xander eventually. These will be fun to customize too.

They all look really good. I'm impressed with these renderings. I'm really curious to see how all the parts will interchange and work.
But... I won't be purchasing these. At least not until there is a huge assortment of characters available, say five or six waves worth. They are too expensive right now.
I'd like to put in a request now that all six in a wave be released in a multipack that includes all the accessories/alternate parts. I would much rather buy entire sets than individual figures when it comes to this style, and a boxed set would look awesome.
