Hello! I'm new here and just recently got into Sideshow's series of Buffy figures due to being suckered at a retailer's sale. Well, it helps that I'm sorta a fan of the Buffy and Angel series... Most of my figures are still boxed, since I haven't received most of them yet... haha... ;D Rather undecided whether to keep them boxed or open for display. The figures should certainly look better displayed. I've been looking for online photo galleries of the Sideshow Buffy figures but haven't found much so far. Perhaps some of you experts there could direct me to the right places... or even post to this thread Here are photos of my 2 displayed figures so far... Buffy and The Gentlemen (although released long time ago, obtained only recently):

I found the door browsing amongst 2nd hand collector's stuff at a local collectibles shop. It was part of a display set with some figure but apparently the collector was only interested in the figure and so decided to resell the door. I don't know whether it is scaled proper to 1/6 figures but it looks about there so I thought it'd look great with fantasy/horror themed Buffy figures ... I got the hammer loose from a friend who collectors (mostly) 1/6 scale military figures... they mostly carry guns but a few items like hammers, knives, boots, etc. seem to be useful for Buffy themed figures. Getting another set of photos ready soon with some 'guest stars'... er, is this the right place in the forum to post photos?

Wow, love that door and putting a scarf on Hush Buffy looks great on her. My collection is just on a plain white bookcase but someday I might actually try and paint some sort of background for them. Here's my collection:

Here's my collection: Wow, looks like you have every Buffy Sideshow figure and more... About Hush Buffy, I thought the neckline joint looks rather bad so improvised with the scraf. It's rather plain though... thinking the Slayer might have more colourful fashion sense but haven't really come across any fashion scraves around... My Buffy Graduation Day, Angel, Spike (human & vampire), Xander, and Oz are still in boxes... awaiting to move house soon and thereby having more space for displays... can't wait... hahah

FireflyFlanatic I love your set up! I really do, the Vampire at top are so cool together^^ Great to see Buffy the center point ant there is still room for one more vampire to make it even out. Really impressive set up, especlly with the PG Buffy's. Though Blue Darla looks lonely.

its vampire buffy, shes cool, but it didnt come with the gravestone...how come yours did? probably an obvious answer That's the excluvise version, it comes with an added extra .. such as the gravestone in Buffy's case. Yours is just the normal release.

Fishyahoo thanks for that great little story!! Loved the ending with Mulder and Scully showing up! And I really do love that scarf and agree with you that it really looks like something Buffy would wear too!
Thanks all for the compliments on my display - if it keeps getting any bigger I may have to look into getting another bookcase for it!! Love those Sideshow figures though - eagerly awaiting 'City of' Angel and D'Hoffryn (and the yet to be announced Cordy)!

Really impressive set up, especlly with the PG Buffy's. Though Blue Darla looks lonely. I'm hopeful we'll get a Vamp Xander so I can fill that space on my Vampire shelf. And I decided to put Blue Darla just a little bit behind the Master and Buffy because she was a big part of his initial storyline but yeah, she does look a little lonely!

Fishyahoo thanks for that great little story!! Loved the ending with Mulder and Scully showing up! And I really do love that scarf and agree with you that it really looks like something Buffy would wear too! Glad you enjoyed it! Hope to do more when time is available. I've just redress Hush Buffy using Scully's long black jacket. I think she looks much better... Will post some photos later. If I get more motivated, would like to develop more environments as well with the tombstones, relics, etc. and other props in a graveyard setting (pictured earlier in another post)...
