So I went to the Megacon, this past weekend, and I came to the Time and Space Toys boothe and I wanted to get some things there. Anyway they only let you use credit if you had a $30 or more purchase, and since I don't carry cash anymore because my wallet has been stolen before, I had to reach that limit of $30 or find an ATM. I came to $27 and the logical thing to do would be something small like a buffy's palz for a just a few bucks, but no I had to look at the sideshow buffy stuff.... I had vowed to myself I would never buy any of these simply because I don't have that much money nor do I have space for them either. And in addition to that I have an addictive personality which makes me want to get all of them... Bottom line was I bought Faith and I love her (yes I am aware that it doesn't look like her) and now tomarrow I'm going to my comic shop to pick up what ever one they have left (I think it's Angel, but i could be wrong).
Ps. I find that untucking Faith shirt helps with her apperance because she lacks the low rider jeans.

Welcome to the world of Sideshow I think you'll like the other figures. If you get chance, try and pick up GD Buffy & Spike, they are really good!

ToodlesMrJim, I had to chuckle at your title for the post and your new "dilemna"! I only started collecting the Sideshow line when GD Buffy came out and since then I've gotten every single one that's come out and went and hunted down the first Buffy and the three Gentlemen. Yes, it is quite addictive and like you, once I start I have to have them all.
My poor husband kind of gave me a look the other day when I mentioned I had ordered Vamp Buffy, Oz and Origin's Angel and that Willow had just arrived and the two PG Buffy's and Vamp Spike are coming soon. He kind of looked at me and asked in this kind of dejected voice 'cause he knew what the answer would be, "Will there be any end to how many of these figures you are going to collect?". I just kind of gave him a blank stare at first and said that I'm going to want them all!
Now, in my defence, this is the only thing I collect!!

I have that problem as well.
I had bought the Gentlemen/Buffy when the first came out because I thought, these are the only ones in this format that are coming out, I might as well get them. Then when the new ones started coming out I decided to stay firm and not buy any of them, or I would want all of them.
Well, then Oz came up for preorder, and I decided that I needed that little Dingos Ate my Babies shirt. Then I needed a Willow to put it in. Then I needed a vamp willow to put in reg willows clothes cause they are too cute to waste. Then I needed a Buffy cause she won an award, and I had to have Vamp Buffy too, and then whats a Buffy without an Angel? Then the Master was cheap so why not. ....... And before you know it in one weeks time I have ordered/preordered 8 sideshow figures. And I mean to get my hands on all of them now, even the expensive Vamp Angel. Sigh.
/me NOOOOOOOO. Just posting in this thread caused me to go out and buy another. Make that 9, I just preordered Der Kindestod. The one I said I would never buy because it scared me too much. Ok, but his eyestalks are staying in a different room....or house. Maybe I'll bury them.

I know what you mean. I tried really hard to stay away from this line but then I went and bought one and then another and now i own 6 with 4 more preordered.
I plan on getting them all at some point, but I'm in no rush. I might not get Origins Angel unless he sells for $25 like Vamp Willow and The Master. And Vamp Angel isnt high on my list. But i will own all the others for sure.

I just got Angel today, he was on clearance for $20 at a near by comic shop... And I order Spike for $48 from store.yahoo.com/etreasureThey also had Buffy and Angel, I thought that it wasn't a bad price for spike considering how much I've seen him go for elsewhere.

I don't know where to post this so that's why it's here; I placed a bit for an Angel doll on Ebay for 15,00, i was the highest bidder for days, in the last 5 minutes i wanted to bid a tiny bit higher to make sure i would get it. But at that moment my computer froze... 10 minutes later i was on again and saw somebody else got it for 16,00, that sucked, it was a great prize. But yeah, i have bought enough stuff this last few months so i guess it's for the better Wanted to ask: How much does the first Hush Buffy go for these days?

You can get the 'Hush' Buffy from Forbidden Planet for only £9.99 at the moment. This time last year it was going for around £50. I guess with the new "better" figures coming out shes been left in the dark.

The original Spike came with gloved hands to hold the cross but if you got the Exclusive version, you got it with regular, ungloved hands too. Well, I have an extra set of Buffy and the three gentlemen that I've been debating on selling and I watched the last couple of autions that had all four of them on Ebay to get an idea of what I could get for them and one went for $265 plus $18 s/h and the other went for $222 plus shipping (calculated by zip code). cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5947192082&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:ITcgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5951355389&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:ITI had bought a set for myself and each of my daughters and my oldest has decided she doesn't want hers. She wanted to keep the Buffy but I told her if I sold them I should sell them as a set and she was okay with that.

Yeah, I was stunned at the prices those auctions went for because I got my sets from Ebay about 8 months ago on Ebay and paid around $120 including the shipping. Mine are all in their un-opened boxes like these ones were too. I guess it's a matter of hitting it just right. When I bought mine, the same person was listing a set every couple of weeks and I did pretty good compared to other people (I like to watch auctions even after I've won because I want to see if I overpaid). A lot of the auctions went to at least $150 plus shipping.
My suggestion is to just be patient. I haven't seen any Buffy & Gentlemen sets listed since I watched those two auctions but I know they'll eventually show up. As for the Buffy figure, I've seen that sell from reasonably low, like $15 to like $80. People seem to get into bidding frenzys. I always watch an auction and wait until the last second and then bid my top amount. And just remember, there will always be another auction.
But seeing how high those two auctions for the complete set went makes me hesitate to list them because I'm wondering if I wait, if I can get more than that in a year or two. I'm not surprised my daughter wants to sell them because her intent was to probably sell them "some day". I just didn't expect her to want to sell them this soon. It's up to me whether to list them because I'm the one who'll do all the work. She's the one that'll get the money. She lives here so it's not a big deal to sell them yet. Once she moves out on her own, she might be more anxious to get rid of them.

Yeah I've seen them for cheaper as in like $100 they even had a buy it now for $99 but I hesitated cause I wanted my brother to buy it for my bday but when I got a hold of him someone bought it.
I've seen them individually go for like $20 each and I'm wondering how hard it is to find the whole set like that... right now I only see 2.
