Has everyone that ordered one got a shipping notice by now? Sideshow emailed me this was due to arrive so I dont want to be a crazy impatient collector.... but I AM.

Great photos, Karen- I got a bonus Mr. Burns, which is a really cool gesture on the part of Sideshow- Mr. B

I also got a bonus Mr. Burns and also thought that was a very nice gesture on the part of Sideshow. I had to laugh at the letter though talking about how they make an effort to inspect the boxes first and then pack them so they don't get damaged and to let them know if there is any damage because I think they jinxed me. I've never gotten a letter like that and my boxes have always arrived in perfect condition but not this time. I had a big crease going around the back and onto the side of the box this time.
I have a few nitpicky things too about the figure. Karen mentioned this I believe but it was really annoying to have to practically undress the figure to unwrap the wire from his body (and I really, really did not need to see Derkinderstod half undressed - eek!). I wish the drawings had been on a hard plastic because I'm worried about them bending (they got a little crease in them as I tried to remove them from the package). And the eye stalks were also really soft and I thought they'd be harder. And he needed just a little more color around his eyes I think but maybe they were worried about the eye stalks not matching.
But, love all the detail with the figure and love the extras that came with him.

I'm with you on both counts. That wire was a major pain in the ass and so unnecessary.
I'm bummed about the drawings, because you really can't prop them up so they can be seen. I just have them lying by my figure and you just can't see them unless you walk right up to the display.

That's what I wanted to do too. I have them lying next to him and I'm also worried about them getting knocked off the shelf because they are pretty light. I was thinking of getting a couple of mini photo frames to put them in. Do they make them that small for like wallet sized photos?

I got mine today, he is amazing. The details are amazing and the photos make great accesories. I was watching this episode the other day, and this figure is so accurate and kind of creepy.
I didn't get a free Mr Burns bust, but I did get a free Marge Simpson bust. Does anyone want it, PM me and let me know.

I got mine just now, I'm so excited to open it! It was VERY fast shipping from the EU warehouse. Didn't get a free Simpsons Bust but was lucky to score a Sideshow Catalog & 'Collect For Life' wristband

I hope mine comes soon! hey Andy, the wristbands are pretty cool aren't they? Someone off the Sideshow board sent me mine You might still get it today The wristbands are really cool and a good idea to promote the line, a little something different. As for the figure, I had such a nightmare opening the damn thing and removing the wire. I had to strip the poor old guy! But it was totally worth it

Glad I don't open mine! I think it's cool that Sideshow are doing the wristbands for charity.
By the way, anyone know what time FedEx delivers up to in the UK? (I want my Kindestod! lol)

I thought I was going to get one of the wristbands too because they had mentioned something on their website about giving those away but my daughter was thrilled with the Mr. Burns bust. Maybe the next figure I'll get one of the wristbands.

How old is your daughter if you don't mind me asking? You mention her often, and I was just wondering.

Do you and your sister get along? My girls get along really well and I always thought that was a nice age difference between them. Not too much where they have nothing in common but not too close that they totally get on each others nerves!! Just curious, how much did they charge you for shipping? I also really love this figure and it surprises me that I do because I wasn't too thrilled when they first announced him. But they did such a fantastic job with him! He definitely is one of their best for the Buffy line. My oldest has some of the figures but she isn't as interested as collecting them as I am and my youngest are but she said if they ever make an Adam figure she'll definitely get him. I think Adam would make a great figure too! I wasn't a huge fan of the Initiative storyline but I can definitely see where he would look really cool. I also got the Sideshow catalog and noticed they still have the old Willow pictured. I wish they'd show all the Buffy figures that they've made even though most of them have sold out. I think that would look pretty impressive to see a few pages of BtVS figures!

Yeah, I thought that too! I also agree an Adam figure would be great They charged me $21.45 for shipping. Which is about £11, which is ridiculous. It's not like it was even packaged that well. Oh, and yes, me and my sister get on great!
