I'm just confused...everyone's saying "It's too risky - the lines are failing" yarde yarde yar...that so - isn't there more chance of them deciding not to make anymore before finishing of the main characters? THAT would suck even more...unless they paid fairness to the fans and actually finished the line. DST don't care much for the status of the character on the show but more about popularity of the character since there lies their profit. As you can see every now and then they make additional characters (Kendra, Kennedy, Joyce, Wood, Glory, Adam, D'Hoffrin and so on) but their main focus will always remain on the popular characters. I believe we will get all those characters you've mentioned in the first post, but till then expect to see more variants of characters we've already got. |

And now comes news that the new Dru and Oz have been pulled alongside Principal Wood in the new Buffy line.
Sad.
The line is in decline.
Please finish the cast before stopping the run.

Hmm, I don't think Sarah Thompson ('Eve') was ever in the main credits... She features heavily in the final series - particularly the DVD layout screendrops. |

You see fit to comment on this a month after I actually posted that, and you've already replied many a time in this thread? You're blatantly bumping this thread. There are tons of other threads that you can now rant about Dru/Oz/Wood. I can't help but see that post as an attempt to get more replies to your thread because you can't let it die. And so what?? You had listed her as a main credited core cast member, which she never was. I corrected you then, and I'll correct you now. Being on a dvd set doesn't change that. |

Who cares about Eve, when there aren't even a Lilah or a Lindsay around? Anyway, I doubt Eve was popular enough for DST to intend a new sculpt and take the risk not to make profits on that figure. Sure, they could use an Anya body, and just make a new head sculpt, but is she really on the top wish list of most fan? No, cuz Gunn, Harmony, Lilah, Lindsay, The Beast and Connor are. |

Gunn HAS to be next surely. He's the last long term character left to be made, and he's more popular than most remaining characters (+ fighting character bonuses)

Pretty much everyone now knows that Dru, Oz and Wood are most likely not cancelled. You could have done your homework instead of bringing it here to get more people confused about the status of this line. In 5 days we will know more about the future of Buffy and Angel figures. |

Apologies - some people in here are just freaks.
This is the only board I check out - this original post is book marked.
So I reply to this.
I'm not *bumping* anything and I was posting on this when or if something got posted that I find of interest.
This is like my 12th post...I'm 'new'
I won't stop posting if I am curious about what is being said in a thread...this post is like 4th from the top of my topic forum list - so forgive me for thinking it's current ?
Sorry to those who feel I need to do 'homework' as I also have to point out that I haven't posted on this for a few weeks and the topic is back near the top when I do come back...so recent replies getting all pissy about recent announcements - feel free to not reply in here and post in another thread.
People in here are just rude!
The questions I asked and points I raised were in reference to things I didn't know.
I was not attempting to bring anyone down or challenge them in anyway.
It's the net - I'd be stupid to think 'attacking' people on line would be fun.
Personally - it's pointless.
I was mistaken - Eve wasn't in the credits...and what?
I thought she was bacause I recently watched the show again and state that was a justification of my thinking she was credited as a main character in series 5 (therefore worthy of a figure) because she did instead feature heavily in the DVD screens for series 5.
Waa waa
So many babies on this!?
