The main reason for Beneath You Spike being released is not to brighten the line, it was because Time and Space wanted an exclusive and they were all taken, so they asked for something that could easily be made from one of the existing ones (Beneath You is regular with sleeved arms)

White shirt is better.
You can imagine how the "approval" process went.
Executive: Is this lady a good guy or a bad guy?
Diamond: She's a bad guy... have you ever watched the show?
Executive: Bad guys are supposed to wear black. Make her wear black. And no, I don't watch tv, I'm sophisticated.

That's funny!
I also find the white more attractive on Darla than the black. It does remind of several seminal episodes where she was wearing white.
The sculpture of her shirt and trousers isn't exactly accurate for any episode I remember. The outfit is most appropriate for 'Renunion', with her black top and bronze trousers but, even then, the top was not a button up shirt.
She wore a green shirt in that exact style for 'Dear Boy' but it was over a slip dress. I would have liked the ornament/mini-bust to be green for that reason.

She is, just look - the outfit matches: Rolled up Sleeves, White Shirt, Bit of Cleavage showing, Black Pants.

That would have made one great twin pack - Darla & Dru just before they eat most of Wolfram & Hart !!! The outfits are colourful & unusual (i.e not what the characters seemed to normally wear). I would definitely like to see that being made !!! Love Darla with her curly hair !

I actualy hate that those two darla are not episode accurate! that remind me of MAC, but then again the sculpt was made from them so.....I could deal with regular darla because she only missing her over shirt for the be redefinition Darla, but vamp one need a new shirt to be accurate, and they need better base, don't know when darla was standin in grass on angel since she was most of the time at w&h or in the street.....butI love them the figure and can,t wait to have them!

As I recall, the figure was first announced way back when Darla was still alive... By the time this figure is released, Darla will have been dead for just about 3 years. There's been a long wait for this figure, and I am personally so thrilled to get her I don't care much about which color her shirt is. Given a choice, I'd go for episode specific for every figure possible. For that reason I chose black, as it seems to fit an actual episode better.

I normally prefer my figures to be as movie/episode accurate as possible, but in this case I voted for the white shirt/black pants Darla. It's just a better contrast I guess.

White all the way!The black dosn't go with her blonde hair. And also black and black really looks bland after I have looked at the white shirt Darla. Also the white makes her looks sexy and beautiful like she is supossed to be.But the black shirt does make her look kinda good, except for the tan.

Is the poll closed? I can't vote. I like the white for the contrast - but the black has its own appeal. In the photos, I see more detail in the white. I'll only be able to tell how good the black looks in person. And I'm sure its going to better than in the pics!

White. Definitely the white shirt. The character of Darla isn't simply "evil", she's far more complex than that, and I think the white shirt reflects this better. And as others have said, it goes much better with her blonde hair, and also gives better contrast and details to the figure, overall.
That said, I'm just happy that they're releasing so many Darla figures!

White! It complements the Pants and Hair so well: Whereas the black shirt just blends in, making the figure quite unnatractive to look at. Need I say more. Very well put.
