I thought Wesley was going to come with a Weapon Cabnet? He will. Wesley has a weapons cabinet base and Lorne has a stage base. We haven't seen them yet tho'

Exactly what I was thinking! Definitely a "Stop Making Sense" vibe going on here, for both Lorne and Wesley.
I have to admit though, that the jackets bother me less and less every time I look at them. Except the "Waiting in the Wings" Wes -- he just looks soooo much more handsome in a tux than that.

So I had a dream last night that they had new pictures of WITW Wesley at Toyfair and his Jacket was tux like, and he looked great. Sigh...then I woke up.
/me Please let me be psychic, please let me be psychic
Anyways, I went ahead and ordered another set of the wesley exclusives because I have this iching to start customizing (even though I can tell you now I will suck) But I want to try some simple ones that will require simple head switching and clothes painting, not additional sculpting. And if DST doesn't fix the coat then I will cut that thing up to make it more tux like.

I really like 'The House Always Wins' Lorne, in fact, all the Lornes are excellent!
The Wesley's are all very good except Bad Girls and Waiting in the wings. The hair is bad and the jackets are hideous!

DST has said more than once that no figures have or will share body parts with another character. The sculpts for Wesley and Lorne are completly different sculpts. they may share parts among the varients of the same character, but not between two different characters.

I think they look like something was just shoved up their arses. The pose is a bit strange. Great likenesses though...except for the facial hair on Wesley.

Cool pics, thanx. Where did they come from if you don't mind me asking? Loving Wesley's facial likenesses and the Pink helmet. Not loving Lorne's missing hand. Tsk tsk. and Tux Wesley's jacket. I'm guessing that DST don't love it either as he right in the back. I can't believe how wrong DST has made ROF Wesley's jeans. They're brown now? Looks like a pin for Lorne's head attachment.

Thanks for the pics! The figures are looking very good, if not great. I still have some quibbles with a few of them, but overall they're looking decent. They did a pretty good jobs with the paint apps on Wesley's pants... they look pretty good as jeans and dress pants.

Yeah these are great new pics. I can't wait until the Lorne and Wesley's hit the shops as they are looking to be by far my fav figure line ever!

Cool pics, thanx. Where did they come from if you don't mind me asking? DST had a display of upcoming releases at the Creation Grand Slam convention in Pasadena last weekend, and they had our own JusticeDemon manning the booth, which was cool. And I was there, and I had my camera, which also worked out nicely. Apparently when they lent the prototype figures to be exhibited in New York (Toyfair? Or was there something since then?), two of the Lornes came back with missing hands, which they weren't too happy about. You can see the left had missing from the white-jacketed Lorne in the shot of their backs (JD took that shot for me, by the way). I hope that doesn't mean that there's going to be a problem with hands breaking off of the actual released figures. Hopefully the fact that this happened now means that they'll take another look at the wrist joints to see how they can be strengthened.

I think Rain of fire and Salvage Wesley are very similar.

Is that the back of EOD Deluxe Faith in the second pic?
If so, are there any more pics of the deluxe figs?
Not too sure between ROF Wes and regular Wes now.
I'm leaning towards regular Wes because (a) he'll be cheaper and (b) the colours look better than ROF Wes's brown, brown and grey.
Cheers, Haeph.

Regular Wesley is still my favorite. Is that the back of EOD Deluxe Faith in the second pic? If so, are there any more pics of the deluxe figs? I'm not sure if you saw these, but there are pics of them on page 11 in the 'Pictures of ALL Deluxe Buffy and Faith variants' thread in the Deluxe Page. (sorry, my link isn't working)
