I have S4 Wes and Judgement Lorne, and I plan to buy Bad Girls Wes when I have a bit more £££.
Does BG Wes's base look like it will fit in with the library playset?
Has anyone tried to paint S4 Wes's beard like to make it like earlier shots and promotional shots (e.g. UK Buffy/Angel mag). I think that looks better. If anyone has/does can you post pics and what you done? Thanks!

Does BG Wes's base look like it will fit in with the library playset? Actually, it kind of does. It is the same paint colors and it looks like it should fit on one of the corners.

I have a question, why does PG Wes have stubble? Wes only got the semi-beard from season 4 onwards.

I got my order from EE today. Season 4 Wes, and Judgement & NPLPG Lornes. I've only opened Wes so far. I'm a bit let down in the articulation. I can't pose him aiming the shotgun, those damned elbows have such a limited range. The lack of a thigh swivel prevents him from having more than a "standing still" pose. Damn you DST for taking that away! Did you really think the useless ankle swivels would be a satisfactory replacement? Now I want to get an extra Wes to mess around with, trying to get his elbows to bend farther. I'm sure making thigh articulation is possible, but why... arg. At least we got the MAC-designed weapons cabinet. That was one of the last great things MAC did, and I'm glad DST had the brains to go ahead with producing that piece. DST just have to work on their articulation... make it more practical!

I finally got my "Waiting in the Wings" Wes figures the other day as well as my other "Parting Gifts" Wes. Now all that I am waiting for is my "The House Always Wins" Lorne figures and my T1 Lorne figure, which I should get by the end of next week, I hope.

Has anyone received Parting Gifts or Waiting in thw Wings Wesley from T&ST (or the BCC)? No, but I ordered a signed Judgment & House Wins Lorne from the BCC on August 10 and they're being delivered tomorrow, if that helps. I ordered a Parting gifts Wesley from DST on August 11 and it came today.

I ordered a Parting gifts Wesley from DST on August 11 and it came today. Was it carded? It never came I was tracking it on UPS and thurs night they said it was rescheduled for Fri and the same thing happened on Fri night. It's now rescheduled for delivery on Mon . But I had emailed DST before I ordered it asking if they were selling the blister card version or the ToyFare Box and they emailed me back saying that they were selling the blister carded version.

DST sent me parting gifts Wesley in the BOX! The reason I order from them is to get CARDED Toyfares! I now have 3 in the box. I am kind of bummed about it!

FINALLY got the Wes/Lorne wave in Brisbane, Australia.
I purchased "Season 4 Wesley", which is basically Wesley from the Faith episodes of season 4 (cannot recall their names) and TNPLPG Lorne.
I was leaning towards Judgement Lorne because he came with more Lorne accurate accessories (eg alcohol and a microphone), but opted for TNPLPG Lorne because he looked so much funkier in the red suit (now I just need to find a small glass for him to hold as an accessory, or he can be drinking Angel's soul).
I was initially impressed with both of these figures. The bases are outstanding and I was blown away by how big the weapons cabinet is. It certainly puts the upcoming wall/floor bases in a less favourable light compared to these excellent bases. Lorne's stage is also VERY impressive.
My quibbles:
- Ankle articulation on Wesley (not there on Lorne)? Why isn't the articulation joint between the shoe and the bottom of the trousers? Mid-way through his calf seems like a ridiculous place to put a swivel joint, especially on such heavily folded/pleated/sculpted trousers where if you move the joint it immediately looks out of place. - Elbow articulation on Wesley and Lorne? This should really be readily utlised to make at least a 90 degree angle with the elbow joint. Neither Wesley nor Lorne can make a proper "L" shape with their arms, which when it comes to trying to pose Wesley with his shotgun and other accessories is really a pain in the azz. - Neck articulation on Wesley and Lorne? Kinda excuseable for Lorne with his "action feature" (which isn't listed on the package, so if you weren't an internet fan, you may think the figure is defective), but still could have made a ball-joint between the neck and head. But even more of an issue with Wesley where it allows VERY little movement?
Basically it comes down to getting the most out of the articulation, which it appears DST is not doing. If they're going to include the joints, then at least realise their full potential so that they offer decent movement. - Weapons Cabinet? Surely someone noticed the fact that the back section was being put in upside down? What is the use of a hool 2mm off the bottom of the cabinet floor? Its little things like this that really take away from the excellence that would otherwise be the weapons cabinet for me.
On the whole, I'm pretty pleased. There's really no other variant that I plan to get. I was going to get Rain of Fire Wesley, but that bright blue shirt put me off. It might be suitable for Spike, but it just doesn't fit ROF Wesley.
Cheers, Haeph.

Finally got all my Wesleys' and Lornes'- i ordered them 3 bloody weeks ago!!!Grrrrr.
Why the hell is Rain of Fire Wesley's shirt such a bright blue- it looks nothing like any of the pics.
I like Wesley season 4 the best. All in all, i'm very happy with them. Lorne looks great in all his insane outfits.

at last I finally got my NPLPG lorne he is so cool holding his own head on a platter, I just wish his base was a connecting one with TTL glass Angel. Also lets hope that theres a buffybot with a removable head so glory could smack it off.
