I got the CD, it's got two very nice songs on it IMO, I really like the first one. I suppose you could open the figure and cut the plastic out and put it in a frame behind the figure...oh, you could carefully remove the bubble, cut the picture part out in a 4x6 or 3x5 size and then cut the the bubble part with the signature out to match it and frame the picture with the signature over it and put it behind the figure...I might have to do that...maybe. I'm still very undecided, but thougts are brewing.

Attention everyone... Cinequest has placed Triangle Tara back on their site. Click here to order the figure. If you plan to order, be aware that the figure will not be shipped until after January 17. -CMK

mine arrived today..not really impressed with the shipping - the box was kinda smashed at one end, and sitting open in the letterbox. But suprisingly the card and bubble are still in excellent condition. I think I'm going to open it simply because with a personalised signature, the resale value isn't going to match what I paid (not that I plan on selling any of them), and I think it will display nicely with the figure out and the signature/sticker framed somehow behind it. cool figure though. Don't regret buying it at all.

There's an article in the new Buffy magazine about how Amber got the idea for this figure. She was given a choice of 3 outfits, and went for the 'Triangle' one. She also thinks it has a really good likeness.

Does the article say what the other outfits were?

I did a repaint of New Moon Rising Willow in that Promo outfit. I'll post pics in the customs section when I get them.

I finally got mine today, they sent one on Dec 16th and I never got it, so they sent me a new one on monday and I got it today, she's got a great paint job, and Amber signed her with a silver pen, it's kind of cool looking. Mine says: Adam, Always remember to play, Amber "Tara". That's what my wife had put on it. It's kind of the motto of her life and she thought it was perfect to have on an action figure. The figure came in a great box and in perfect condition, and is number 382 of 2000. I'm kinda hopeful that since they sent one to you on Monday and it is only #382 that there are still plenty left and they were be selling them at a cheaper price at somepoint. Has anyone gotten a much higher number than 382?

Has anyone gotten a much higher number than 382? One that I have received to mail off to a contest winner has a number that's over 1,000. -CMK

I rec'd mine on Friday, and although the writing is pretty small, I would swear that it says it is #1865 of 2000.

i dont have it, so i dont know where the messgae is on the card. but for those who want to take out the figure without damageing card/bubble just take a stanly knife and cut 3 slits in the bottom of the bubble. slide out the figure and there you have an undamaged card/bubble for display i want one

Mine was 1668 or 1669 I couldn't tell from the squiggle. I think they started at 2000 and are shipping down.

Either way, there's no way they'll be able to sell 2000 of these for $125 each. I'm still waiting for them to release a cheap version. I just hope nothing like this ever happens again in future releases.

Sorry to tell you Xanderphile but the answer was a categorical "NO" when asked if this figure will be released as a cheaper format. DST/Benson Entertainment agreed that besides these 2000 and a handful of Triangle Tara's for DST's VIPs there will be no other way to get this figure without paying $125.

If that's true, I hope they have decent storage facilities. I know Amber has a large fanbase, but I just cannot justify paying that much for a repaint. Now if it was OMWF Tara, I'd have to reconsider.

I think they could sell all of them. I don't think the market for this is restricted to just those who collect Buffy figures or Action Figures in general. I think Amber has a large enough fan base and there are people who would buy a figure from her in order to support her film work who wouldn't normally buy an Action Figure. I think a lot of these figures are probably going to those people.
