I am officially eating my words. I've gotten confirmation that all of the Willows sold through Toyfare will be carded.

I've been placing advance orders with so many online places that I've lost track of whether I ordered a Vampire Willow from toyfare's online wizarduniverse.com. Do they usually send an email confirmation, or not? If yes, I think I missed it.

Ok, coming in a little late to this discussion...and very confused. So which is it? Will the Toyfare Vamp Willows be carded or boxed? Do we have confirmation? I called Toyfare yesterday but have yet to hear back. So how can those who aren't a member of the MAC Collectors Society order the figures from them? The store is being rebuilt so others can't order but members can still order? That kinda bites. Does anyone else feel they need a bloody score card to keep up with all this stuff??

The Vampire Willow from ToyFare will be boxed. The ones through Diamond (UK and Australia) and the ones from MAC's club will be carded. The MAC Collector's Club is moving to something new with Diamond, though, so you can't sign up until the new club is debuted.

JD, can you still order direct from MAC without being a member or is that going to change too? Basically I want to assure I get the Vamp Willow carded since I'm feeling uneasy about my chances getting the Toyfare Will now, and I'd like the other versions as well. If I can't order direct from MAC (my first choice), what's my second best options? How long has that issue of Toyfare been out now anyway?

And no, you cannot order Vampire Willow from MAC if you're not a member. It's a ToyFare exclusive, and only members can order exclusives through MAC.

[Phew...] I’m not the only one who [makes lists] I have two lists on Microsoft Word (one for Buffy and one for Angel). They both have lists of figures that have come out/will come out and I have a color-coordinated system. One color means the item hasn't been ordered/bought, another means it has been ordered (but not received), and the other means it has been bought (received). I like it because it shows me how far I've come with my collection, and how far I have to go. -CMK

That's a nice system! I'll have to use that idea sometime. Tired of chasing down notebooks filled with collections in them! JD: I wasn't talking about the exclusives (although that would be really nice). I just want to order ANYTHING from MAC. That would be ok nice.

As far as I know, they are no longer handling the distribution of the figures. Basically, they're only sculpting. Everything else is being handled through Diamond. We should hear more on that very soon, though.

Thanks JD. This makes a sort of sense. Clay's studio is great for the sculpting angle! It was the business end that left a lot to be desired. With a relationship to DST now, everything should fit perfectly!

I sent in the coupon from Toyfare on February 5. I hope they are not sold out! Time & Space Toys says that they have reached their pre-order limit and are not taking anymore until May 2004 for the set of 6 and the Spellbook.

Actually, you can still preorder at nextgentoys.com. They have some kind of deal with time and space toys.

Should I buy one from ebay now or wait until they show up cheaper? Wait to find out what Diamond is doing with their Collector's Society. I wish I'd waited on my World Tour Willow....
