regarding a note someone posted about the current articulation of the WILLOW figures... the WHITE WITCH WILLOW figure that is out now is a pre-production sample. this means, it isn't meant to be a finished figure. this is why it has only four points of articulation. there will be a fully articulated version when the others are released.
now, about the articulation on the WILLOW figures, i am disappointed that they are minus the bicep and thigh joints. someone posted that these aren't necessary, but they really do make for a more natural pose. sure, you don't HAVE to pose WILLOW in a martial arts kick-ass pose, but the thigh joint would at the very least allow her to be in a seated position. without it, she will just have her legs spread WAY out. and the bicep joint would make her "spell-casting" poses to look a heck of a lot cooler.
but truly, i am beyond thrilled that we are seeing these figures. i have the WHITE WITCH WILLOW pre-production sample, and i have noticed that she is a different scale from the previous figures. this worries me. i hope that this is also because she is only an example of the product to come!

Hate to break it to you, but we've already gotten confirmation from Diamond that the carded version will have the exact same articulation as the Pre-Production White Witch Willow. The only way to get a fully-articulated White Witch Willow will be in the Willow's Spellbook Box Set from Time and Space Toys.

I didn't read the previous messages, and I read the first sentence of yours and I thought you were talking about Anya. Phew!

I was wondering if there would be a chance that the con exclusive Anya (Hells Bells, right?) would be available outside of Wizard World. Like the Pittsburgh Comicon this year here?? It seems kinda far fetched, but I know that Palisades is gonna be there giving out their Adventure Kermit exclusive... So I wondered if itd be possible to see DST there...

I usually go to the Pittsburgh Comicon every year and alot of vendors do carry Buffy merchandise, but I doubt Diamond will be there and giving them away. A vendor may possibly have one but you will be paying an arm and a leg for it. This year it is at the Monroeville Expomart on April 30, May 1-2. Heres the link: www.pittsburghcomicon.com/JusticeDemon: thats the link for the Wizard one held in Philadelphia not the con in Pittsburgh.

Yes it was Dawn of the Dead. The comicon usually gives tours of the mall every year to show where certain parts of the movie were shot. In some places there are still stains from fake blood. This year the Pittsburgh Comicon's special guest is George Romero.

It would be nice to get a world tour Willow, or any new figure. I am going, after all I do get dragged to the expo mart for their computer shows, it will be nice to go to something I actually want to.

They do look like good accessories, I mean they'd be perfect for Anya, however I don't think I've ever seen Rabbits with ears like that.... What if each Anya came with 2 of these and they were all repainted differently. The magic box base would look like that scene where every time she tried to do a spell more bunnies showed up. hahaha, Anya is so funny!

I hope to one day get to visit the monroeville mall.. I have heard that a lot has changed, the ice rink was removed, stores closed, the front end where our heroes from Dawn blocked the mall with trucks has changed.. but the feeling of the mall is still there. Dawn is one of my favorite movies.. also living in Toronto, I managed to visit the Dawn remake's mall set several times, even convincing a foolish set worker to give my friends and I a tour of the "top secret" set, even taking several pictures. If anyone wants to check it out.. the address be: www.gaylenross.com(named after the original movie's star Fran, and name of a new store which appears in the remake as a tribute to her..)
