ok, i just saw the giles page! OMG! the pics from justice demon are great, i love the "3-way mirror" look to the giles figure. and CMK the design is great, simple and very sleek. i am floored! my only suggestion would be to add some kind of background pic or something to the series 2 main page, its just too empty for lack of a better word. keep up the amazing work!

CMK1887, where did you move the link? I can’t seem to find it.

Great! Love the layout & format and details on the figure page (Giles so far). Only thing is the font is a bit small, and the greys everywhere tend to be hard to read. Or maybe that's my monitor, I do need a new one... It's not bad though (the greys), at least it's easy on the eyes. I don't like stark white all over the place on web sites / forums (cough cough... erm, excuse me I had something in my throat )...

Thanks! I should’ve bookmarked it earlier. Giles’s page looks very nice. I’m still doubtful on the whole “gray background and gray fonts” because it’s difficult to read. Perhaps if you’ll make to fonts a bit bigger it would be easier to read. Also, I think the accessories images are a bit small, too. They’re good enough to see what’s what but I think it’s important to show the details on those accessories as well. Besides that, I think this web site is turning out great. I also had and idea about a rating system. Maybe you could open a poll for each figure and let everyone rate the figure on a scale of 1 to 10. www.Sparklit.com has a very user-friendly poll system that you can use. This way the site would be more interactive.

I took the advice about the small accessory pictures, and I made them a bigger size. As for the color/font size, I think I am going to keep those things the same. Grey is very easy to see, and the font shouldn't be hard to read because of it's color...it's darker than the background, so there shouldn't be any trouble. The font size makes the site look sleeker, and I think having a bigger font would just make it less sleek.

How about adding something to the pages for the series? The sample series 2 page looks a little scarce. Maybe a graphic of some sort to the right (a pic of all the figures together maybe?), or more prominent banners for the "Series 2" and "Exclusives" titles. The welcome page and the individual figure pages look great, just enough detail, and nothing overwhelming

First off, an exciting start...I love the content on the figure page; the quote, the review, all perfect and informative! I have to agree that the fonts could be bigger. At 1024X768 resolution it's just a bit smaller than it could be and still have plenty of space plus more readability. I think the grey combination can work but it needs to be bigger to be more ledgible, or a darker text color, or a little of both.
I'm also not really a fan of the intro screen. I like it, but my feeling on those has always been why am I not going right to the main page? The logo from that intro could just go at the top of the main page. I really like the setup of the photos too, although the figure one could be a bit bigger...again, I think 1024X768 is standard resolution these days and more space could be used.
The other thing on the photos is that they look a little overexposed. If JusticeDemon could try to take them in a well lit area without the flash that might help. If not adjusting the levels in Photoshop or something could make the contrast a bit better and prevent the washed out detail.
Great job, we all appreciate the work you guys are doing so take our comments in stride! We just want it to be the best it can.

Oh boy. You should see some of the pictures I DIDN'T use. I'm still experimenting with light sources, resolution, glare, shutter speed, Photo-shopping etc. I haven't found the perfect (reproducable) combination yet, but I'm still working! If I can manage to come up with a solution, I would go back and re-photograph the first pictures so they all match. Thanks for the suggestions!

This might be something you could considider when your nearing the finish, but how bout a little message board thing for each figure page? Not to chat aobut it, but to have everyone rate the figure. I just think it might be cool to have different opinions, but I realize how much work it could be...

I just think it might be cool to have different opinions, but I realize how much work it could be... That’s why I suggested using polls. They’re easy to add and this way each figure will be rated by various people with various tastes…what seems like a very fair rating system. Also, this site I recommended earlier is very easy to use. I used it several times and it never failed me.

Awesome! One suggestion! I saw on this one Buffy Figure site they had actual figure information. Like who scuplted it, what episode they were from, actor (even though we all know that ), a description of the character, etc. I know I'd help you out on stuff like that and I'm sure others would too! Just a thought though.

I like the site. I agree that the font is wee...but i understand the sleekness. Maybe if it were black on grey. I love the figure pics and accessories. The quote by Tony Head was great too. I would also love to see something that references which exact episode the figure is from. That is a great idea and something that even die-hard buffy folks might not always know.

Kind of like the upcoming Transformation Willow...y'know, once I get started back up with the site (time is just not on my side I guess), I'll add that bit of info...and I will change the font to black. -CMK

BtVS Figs Online is going through a revamp...I know I just put the site up, but I wasn't liking how it was going, so I want to take my time and make some nice changes...I'll let you know how far I am with the project later on.

Hey guys...I really want to start the site back up, but time is really tight these days, so hopefully I'll be able to get something done over the Thanksgiving holiday and on weekends when time permits. I'm sorry for not giving you the site yet.
