Heroes series 2 just started on Sci-Fi Australia a few weeks ago, so I can now join with everyone in hoping the likes of Kensei, Elle, Ando, Maya etc. make it onto shelves.
I was looking at my Heroes figures after this aired & decided I couldn't wait any longer for series 2, so I went on eBay & grabbed a set.
There was a set of 7 or a set of 5, I just went with the 5 as the variants don't seem too interesting to me.

Yeah when I look at my collection it just looks so empty even though I have all the figures released, there are just so many people who don't have figures. I really want series three now.

I got Veronica Mars seasons 1-3 (aka the whole series) at Target for a mere $60, normally $50 per season. Got through them all in a mere week. Now Im gonna rewatch season 2 of Heroes, Im officially obsessed with Kristen Bell and I need that Elle figure NOW!

Got Parkman today and the figure is really good, the big arm isn't a big issue just put it in a different pose and that's all, Molly is a really well done petit figure, i got three figures for this line and they aren't a dissapoint, good job mezco.

My series 2 set arrived. It included live plant Linderman & Jessica Sanders.
Firstly, I LOVE the figures. All 5 of them.
The Nikki head I received is far better than the Jessica head. Unfortunately a lot of Jessica's hair paint was ripped off by the packaging. And it is BLACK underneath!! Not happy about that, though I was expecting some trouble after reading forum posts. Thankfully Nikki's hair is fine.
Love Matt & Molly, though they made Molly a bit chubbier in the face than I recall her looking. Claude is awesome & so is Linderman.
In regards to series 3, I think we are going to have to wait till Toy Fair in February to see if the line will even continue past series 2.

There does not seem to be any section for Mezco Heroes at the UK Toy Fair. Seems the line is gone.

Hello World, sticking my head over the parapet after a quieter few weeks than uisual. I got this lovely sploding peter from a Trek friend in the US. Love him although his left shoulder has been attached upside down. I'm tempted to boil and pop but am worried the effect it will have on the paint application. Oh well, it only stands out if he's in your hand! And to answer Sammy's question. I don't think Heroes is doing too well over here and the toys do no have high street exposure, only Forbidden Planet, LCBS and online. The UK toyfair is really aimed at the high street seller so there was probably no point in even showing anything. Sadly. Still tempted by some of this line but not them all. Maybe will get a Matt figure cause I'm a bit of a Grunberg groupie.

They already made Matt. He was in series 2 and came with a Molly mini-figure.

From figures.com:
"A noticeable absence from the Mezco Toy Fair display was HEROES, based on the hit NBC series.
When pressed about it, we were informed that HEROES is indeed done, with no current plans to release Series 3 or Series 4.
While the line may not have proven popular, it seems we will never see the rest of the main cast in action figure form."
If the line was done, why couldn't they have told us months ago?

Bummer.
I wanted the Samurai Hiro figure (moreso for a "samurai" action figure, than for "Hiro"). I also would have been tempted by the Elle and Adam figures.
It's a shame the figures didn't do better for Mezco. It seems to be getting more and more difficult for new action figure lines to get going and stay going.
Cheers.

Yeah, I'm almost entirely done with figures at this point. Everything that interests me either got canned or is slow with releases. Hasbro Indiana Jones, NECA Pirates of the Caribbean, DST Buffy, McFarlane Lost, Palisades Muppets, and now Mezco Heroes all got canned before their time. All that I have left is NECA Harry Potter (which hasn't had a new figure since summer 08) and Gentle Giant busts (which have all been incredibly delayed).

One thing that piece me off about companies, it's when they showed prototypes and then canceled the series, that's wrong.

WTH!? Are you kidding me? These are the only figures I get since the end of Buffy. Why!? Could they not have just released the series' they'd made prototypes of and then cancelled it? I really wanted Elle! And Nathan, he's the only main, main cast member we don't have, it looks silly without him. This is so annoying.

Tell me about it! It feels like LOST all over again. Series 3 Clair was the only figure I wanted and they cancel the line. Now, I get all hyped up about getting a series 3 Kristen Bell figure and they cancel the line. I hope they don't cancel the Battlestar Galactica figures before I at least get a Boomer. I know that "they" are different companies and I'm trying not to be pessimistic, but I'm worried about the future of my hobby.
