It was just a regular KBToys. They had just gotten them in yesterday morning and appeared to have a full case. I imagine these could go rather fast. There were only 2 Suns there in the first place, so I bet she'll be hardest to get.

Mcfarlane officially cancelled the line today. I wish DST would pick up the rights.

I don't want DST to have the Lost license, they would screw up the likenesses. I think Neca would do a great job with the license.

NECA said they have no interest in the Lost license. The way I see it the only companies that would maybe try are DST or Mezco. If Mezco can do a better job than their Heroes line I'd be fine with them but if not I'd prefer DST.

Over on the McFarlane board, a bunch of people have rallied together to create their own series of Lost figures. A professional sculptor has been hired to create original sculpts (no articulation, similar to the McFarlane figs). He will create a mold and ship out unpainted figures. The first two figures which are being made are Julier Burke and Daniel Faraday. The sculptor has made some in-progress pics which still need work, but look promising. Check out this thread: board.spawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=373111&page=88If you are interested, NOW is the time to take action. A board member named KarenRoss is coordinating this. I'm not sure what the price will be, $50 per figure has been mentioned, but this might change. I think it's an interesting effort, so it'll be fun to see how this plays out.

Cool idea. I'm too sure how I much care (the only reason I was fine with the no articulation was the fabulous paint jobs), but it's definitely something I'll consider.

The sculptor has posted updated pictures: board.spawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=373111&page=100scroll all the way down for headsculpts of Juliet (still in progress) and Daniel (pretty much done and looking good). BTW: Kenobi, I agree that McFarlane does good paintjobs on bodies, with washes and stuff, but some of the headsculpts really suffer because of bad paint. I have just finished repainting my Jack and he went from a vague resemblance to a really good likeness. Anyway, there are board members (good customizers) who have offered to do the painting for others as well.

It took a long time, but I finally picked up a LOST Shannon figure yesterday. It was $5 at my Spencer's and now I have all the LOST figures. They're not my favorite toy line, but they're still pretty decent. I plan to customize some of them, though, into better versions.

I'm not sure if anyone has this store near them (or even cares at this point), but Five Below has started to carry LOST Series 1 at $5 a pop. Not a bad price if you always found the figures expensive or wanted some to customize.

Here's a link to their store locations: www.fivebelow.com/storeFinder.htmlThey're only located in NJ, PA, DE, MD, and VA. I'm not sure if they all have LOST Series 1, but I've now been to 2 that are carrying them. They also some other assorted toys (HML, Zizzle POTC, F4).
