Wayne you said you made the base from foam and then poured resin on it...? What kind of resin? I've been wanting to make more 'rocky' surface bases but I wasn't sure what to use! I want something that is generally flat but has a rocky/uneven texture. I was just wondering if getting some MDF wood and pouring resin on it would be suitable?

I think mdf would soak up the resin. filler is always nice and you can create nice effects. if you need help on that subject lets discuss that at the workshop :-)

She is amazing, I can't see any flaws, the face is perfect, in the new pictures the statue looks just like Buffy in the episode, even better, because in the episode I cant see the details of the blouse, guess the episode should take more attention to that at least at some scene. Its a shame that we cant have a figure like this, lol, this is just excellent and supreme. The paintjob is great, the colors are correct, the jacket and shoes are kind of khaki cream color, the jeans has the wash effect, in the diamond figure the jacket is light yellow and the pants lacks of wash, which is wrong, the whole paintjob on diamond Buffy fig looks very unfinish and cheap.

Thanks MasterPizza, thats exactly what I keep saying! Id rather pay a higher price for a unique piece of art created after my personal wishes instead of having one of those diamond figures on my shelfes.
