Since there has been a lot of questions about the Buffy/Angel figures comming up lately our lovely skytteflickan88 came up with the great idea to merch all those little threads into a general figure chat. Feel free to post about anything from your figures from A till Z.
Please do NOT double posting!

Listen, I love all of the Buffy action figures, but to me the MAC figures are better than the Diamond select figures. The MAC figures just had so much more character to them. The diamond figures were fun to play with because they are less breakable, but as a collector I don't display any of the diamond figures. When I see my diamond figures next to my MAC figures, they just look so out of place. The only exception is Willow, Anya, and Tara because they were sculpted originally by MAC. My question is, I know the Angel season 2 Darla action figure was released through diamond, but they based the stand and the figure of the SADLY canceled MAC figure series of Wesley, Darla, and Lorne. I don't have a Darla yet, but do you think she will fit in with the MAC figures? She still looks quit similar to the MAC figures.

Wouldn't be able to tell you. I only have a loose Vampire Darla in black shirt. So it's a different figure all together.

I had welcome to the hellmouth darla and one from angel and I sold them. they looked nothing like her and were oddly proportioned imo.

Why is she so expensive and considered to be rare when she isnt even an exclusive?

She wasn't exclusive but there were fewer of those per case of Chosen Buffy and Dawn figures (I don't remember but I think it was something like 1 or 2 per case). So essentially fewer were released.

same with Faith, Hope & Trick. they were short packed and dealers had to order a whole box to get one case topper.

I can only assume that because of the episode, that's why she is quite rare these days so it's fairly expensive

So I am stuck as to which to buy. For those of you who have both or even one of these figures, could you let me know how well the quality and things are. I had a slave cordy so I pretty much know what the SDCC cordy is like. I just do not know which to get.

Personally I didnt like the "Leather Jacket Figs" cause they dont look right on display. Since the other 6" figures dont come with real clothes it does look weird having those standing next to eachother. Also you cant remove the jacket when going for the Faith cause the hairsculpt is kind of different (to make the leather jacket fit) and would look weird without the jacket. IMO Cordy looks better, would either get one of the new Faith figues.

Forgot to mention, the SDCC Cordy is signed by Moore.

Why does it say on my dru I got "From Angel" but has a buffy card? Dru never wore this on Angel and is a more Buffy based Character.

No idea??? Package says Drusilla from Buffy, but the sticker says its a Angel Preview Exclusive. Never thought about that. Maybe she wore a white dress in a flashback? MAC's exclusives were mostly repaints, maybe they didnt want to put extra effort in a new sculpt?

I just thought it was odd when she arrived that her package says Drusilla from Angel and the card read Drusilla from Buffy lol I believe we have an oop Ladies and Gents. Clearly though this outfit is from School hard the white dress which is Buffy.

Did anyone elses sdcc Cordelia in the red shirt come without a base? I opened her up and she had weapons but no base which I thought was really odd. CONCERNED!

Hmmm... that's odd. I don't have this figure but from what I can see from pictures on google, she definitely should come with a base... if you bought from ebay maybe you should contact the seller

Well the Slave Cordy which came in a box never had a base while the blister packed one did. So perhaps the red shirt didn't have one either.
