Mark has been asking me to make this one for years, and I've always resisted, because it was so icky. But I finally saw the funny-side and gave in as a Halloween treat! This also seemed like a good idea for the challenge, as it shows a slayer in the past, present, and future, all in one scene. Almost-Alive Buffy | | Buffy the Vampire Slayer
• 6.1 "Bargaining" • Willow's spell works, and Buffy is transformed from a dead body, back into life • This is rather macabre, I know, but the buyer wanted this for a Halloween prop, and Buffy always looks cute, even when she's only almost alive! Recipe - Thanks for the Parts!
• Buffybot head (for the rictus grin), Anya torso, Anyanka arms, and part of Cordy's skirt (DST) • Mary Jane legs (DC Direct) • WWF Undertaker coffin, repainted (Hasbro) • Dolls house pillow, repainted Sculpt - September 2011
• Sculpted hair, eyeballs, and dress • Roughed up her skin with a drill Photos
• Main view (above) • Unpainted sculpt

That scene is so gross, but the entertaining kind of gross. Cool to see a interpretation of that scene.
I think the facial expression is just right, and good ideas about making her flesh not quite full.

Ha ha, when I first saw this I was like.....um.....why?? Super creepy but super cool if you've seen the show. I agree that you used some good parts to make this dead Buffy starting to come back to life. I would have not guessed that you used a Buffy Bot head. Great idea to use that grinning face!

Excellent work Sasha! Both custom are very cool.
I love how unique the "Almost-Alive" Buffy; very cool idea and I'm surprised it hasn't been done till now. At least not that I can recall.
As for Anne Buffy - the look on Buffy's face alone is a vast improvement to your previous version of this custom.

SINEYA - THE FIRST SLAYER UNLEASHED I've always wanted to make a custom of Sineya moments after she has been given the essence of the Shadow Demon. She still wears the chains that bound her to the ground, although with her new strength she has easily snapped herself free, and ventures out to start her new role as slayer.

Smiler, that is amazing! Looks like a professional piece! The sculpting of her hair and fabric wraps is perfect.

Sineya is absolutely stunning, smiler. Really beautifully conceived and executed.
What parts did you use?

Thanks for your lovely feedback! Sorry, here's the fodder list. Parts used: Sin city Gail head, Shelly torso, Planet Terror Dakota arms, random hands and feet (loose in fodder box- can't remember what from.) I sculpted her lower leg, shoulders, ankles, wrists and sealed all the joints, then added loose strands of hair, some made from sculpey (mainly at base of head) and then the more flyaway strands were taken from a Bellatrix figure, chopped up and then stuck down in between the sculpey strands for support. The bandages are strips of sculpey rolled out and wrapped around and then sculpted for more realistic folds. Paint used - Winsor and Newton Galleria acrylics and DecorArt crafters acrylic.

That is so beautiful. So, so beautiful.
I don't know why, but the way you painted her "clothes" are actually my favorite part. Don't know why, yhey just look great. And the way you made her hair look realistic and not chunky is amazing.

Buffy - Baby Blues A future look at Buffy. Not many slayers live to see their 31st birthday but Buffy has always been the exception to the rule - but not without cost this time. Since losing her arm and the birth of her child Buffy has become even more alienated from those around her, but as ever, she never neglects her duty, seen here patrolling with her son .... Billy! " Now you've done it. That was his favourite bear! "

OOps again! Parts used: Primevil head, Kill Bill Kiddo legs, terminator figure arm, sin city Shellie arm. I sculpted over all the joints, her hair, shoes, baby and part of the baby carrier - the rest of the carrier was made from various cut up bags and belts etc and re-assembled. Not sure about the torso ( fodder box ),but I added some extra folds with sculpey to give Buffy the impression she still might have a bit of baby tummy under there!

Buffy looks gorgeous. Great use of parts, and a lovely sculpt and paint.
I really like the premise and I like her styling.
Billy is cute, but he's no oil painting is he? Did Buffy do the business with a demon? Hee!

Did Buffy do the business with a demon? Hee! Ha, you're so right - perhaps it was Clem!!! Originally the custom was just going to be a cyborg Buffy until I was asked to add 'Billy' by my own child! The baby was actually part made and named by my daughter ( who is 8), and she actually came up with some really nice logic - that Buffy would name her son after one of her 'boyfriends', but would hide it a bit. Can you guess who she was thinking of? This custom is a gift to her - she wanted it badly .Got to encourage the next generation of Buffy fans! We might replace the head in a few months or so though!
