Hey guys I need some help. I was wondering if anyone has a list of all the Firefly and Serenity merchandise or if someone could help me make a complete list. Any help would be appreciated.

Dark Horse: PVC 3-pack 1 or 2 lunchboxes Serenity Ornament Reaverized Serenity Ornament Reaver Ship Ornament Inara's Shuttle Ornament
Gentle Giant: Mal Bust
DST: SDCC free giveaway Mal (same as below) Mal Final Battle Mal Jayne Jayne w/ Cigar Reaver Battle-Damaged Reaver (NYCC exclusive) River Triumphant Statue Inara Strikes statue
Quantum Mechanix: Crazy expensive serenity replica Serenity ship keychain Money pack (w/ and w/out map of the verse) Li'l Damn Heroes I Aim to Misbehave Mal, Shiny Kaylee, Thrilling Heroics Jayne Mal Gun various shirts etc
Someone also made a Reaver sword/axe set Operative Sword.
also various places to buy cunning Jayne hats.
There is also a SG Dr Keller figure of Jewel Staite that is a bit too tall though not smiley enough, but still looks ok.
I keep hoping that "V" will engender figures of Serenity actors but no love so far, and not super-likely. I think that's about it at this point. There was a third statue planned by DST "Zoe's Revenge" but they scrapped it. There might also be more busts to follow, possibly more pvc and possibly more Li'l Damn Heroes.

there's also some unofficial statuettes here: www.ntoonz.com/they might match the Lil Damn Heroes, but I'm not sure as I kept hoping for more figure sized ones.

Wow thank you so much. If its not to much trouble could you also make a list of books/comics? Also isn't there a clear Serenity ship ornament?

Serenity: Those Left Behind (9 covers- 3 issues; HC and PB) Serenity: Better Days (3 issues; PB) forthcoming still: Serenity: A Shepherd's Tale (written by Joss as the other comics are)
Serenity Role Playing Game Serenity Six Shooters and Spaceships (RPG) Big Damn Heroes (RPG) Out in the Black (RPG) Serenity Adventures (RPG)
Firefly and Serenity soundtracks
Finding Serenity Serenity Found (both books of essays) Serenity: The Visual Companion Firefly: Companion books 1 and 2 upcoming: Still Flyin: A Celebration of Joss Whedon's Acclaimed TV Series (will include brand new short stories by show writers like Jane Espenson and Ben Edlund, and pics of unreleased costumes) Movie Tie- in Novel
As for a clear Serenity ship, I think you are right, but I can't think of where I saw it. Logically I'd say it sounds like a QM things.

Sorry to bother you again, but did any company make trading cards and binders?

Yup. The Firefly cards were just screencaps from the DVDs though, not worth buying.

Saving up for the Tonner dolls of the crew, myself. Or at least, I'd want Mal, Kaylee, and Inara. And River.

Hmm..i'm not sure about Tonner. I think a character like Inara will be great with her beautiful costumes, but i'm not sure how the men will turn out.

They'll all be a bit smoother than rough, but, it will be their costumes that really stand out. And chances are people will produce some Tonner-sized original head-sculpts and sell them on ebay, for folks who want a rougher look.
With the crew of the Firefly so large, this could be one heck of an expensive line to collect though! Even if they skip Simon, it will still be close to a thousand bucks to collect them all.

I see word that Tonner is doing Mal, and maybe Inara but what makes you think that they would be doing the entire set?
Maybe I'm just jaded, but if DH isn't even doing the whole cast in cheapo PVC versions, it's hard to imagine Tonner doing them all. It would be interesting to see, though I can't say I've ever seen a Tonner male figure I thought wasn't creepily effeminate and remotely worth the price tag. But I do love me the verse so it's tempting to hope. And Tonner women are incredible, so the Inara figure alone might be worth trying to track down after the browncoat breakfast.

My expectation is that they'll do more than Mal, if the sales of Mal are as through the roof as I expect they will be, based on the chatter. Inara is a safe bet. I am not convinced they're releasing an Inara figure at the event, since they only called it a "product", but even if it is only an accessory of Inara's, it means that Inara will surely be made as well.
I suppose they *could* simply limit their plans to Mal and Inara, and release many different outfits for Inara (I notice they sell outfits separately, sometimes). Mal and Inara could be their Ken and Barbie.
But I think they'll want to take full advantage of their license, and make as many characters as they believe will sell. I doubt that means the whole crew, but I expect it will be a few men and women. Kaylee in her jumpsuit with the brightly colored sleeves would be awesome.

I have an odd question to ask, but I thought I would ask it here. I just bought 2 Serenity figures from a comic shop, and I plan on getting the rest, My question is though what whould you suggest, that I open them or keep them in package. Do you they look better open or in a package?

I open mine, but I put them into glass-covered shadow boxes (like deep picture frames, but deeper) to keep the dust off them. Suitable ones can be tough to find. Many shadow boxes don't have glass, which makes them pretty useless if the intent is to keep dust off them. Umbra used to make great ones, but they stopped a few years ago -- I managed to find a few for myself before they were all gone. Target sometimes has some workable ones, but rarely. Sometimes Marshalls has some, but again, rarely (not in the past year for sure). Due to dust, I wouldn't recommend opening the figures and just putting them on a shelf. Soft plastic really attracts dust, and it is hard to brush off of soft plastic. The packaging looks nice. Not so nice that I think they should be displayed that way though. Some people really believe they're preserving value by not opening them, but realistically, when you're 90 years old do you plan on selling them? They're for you, not for some remote possibility that there may be a huge Firefly revival in 2100 that will make the packaged figures valuable again. Willow figures, behind glass (may be hard to see the glass, but they are indeed in shadow boxes that have a glass front): Helo, 8, and a battle damaged Cylon in an Umbra Pandora shadow box (no longer in production):

After wrangling with my wife, I negotiated to be allowed to buy it, if I did certain overtime work when it comes up.
