there should be some figures made by neca or something i know there are three busts (sookie, bill, eric) with fantastic sculpting and paint and a really great likeness but there should be some actual figures.
what true blood characters would you want as figures???

MasterPizza, where did you find out that Dc Direct might be making True Blood figures. Probably because of the bust rights they got.

It appears that DC Direct may also have grabbed the licence to produce action figures, but this could unfortunately be another situation like with the "Supernatural" licence where no-one thinks an action figure line will be profitable enough.
I have no interest in the busts, but if they were to make action figures I would happily purchase Bill, Eric and Sookie as a minimum (provided they had a decent likeness, articulation and accessories of course). I would also be very tempted to collect Sam, Mary-Anne, Tara and Jason. And if they made them, I may also have to collect Lafayette and Pam.
Cheers.

the poll should be yes or no, more than the character, they won't make just one character.

If they make figures, I would guess they'd start off w/ Sookie, Bill, and Eric since those seem to be the most popular characters. I hope they make Lafayette and Tara.

Since we're all dreaming, what costumes do we want the characters to come in?
I'd like to see Sookie in her Merlotte's uniform with the tight tee-shirt, short-shorts and sneakers/trainers. I wouldn't be opposed to seeing her in one of her little brightly-coloured dresses either, but the Merlotte's uniform seems to be a pretty iconic look for Sookie (IMHO).
Not so sure about Bill. Probably just a dark-coloured, collared, long-sleeved shirt and jeans? I don't recall his wardrobe changing that much. As for Eric, perhaps the black leather (?) gear he wears when "on-show/performing" in Fangtasia?
Thoughts?
Cheers.

I would like if Bill, Sookie, and Eric were wearing the same outfits as they are in the busts. I think that those are the most iconic outfits. Not sure about the others, I would really like a Sam and Jason in the first seris though. Does anyone know of a way to contact the company and suggest the figure idea?

I would totally love TB figures, I doubt theyd make them, but seeing as popular as the show is, the busts and the fact that other shows like Dexter have gotten figures it could happen. I would of course like everyone, but Sookie (season 1 from Merlotts would be best) and Eric would be the first two I would buy, quickly followed by Bill and Maryanne.

Maybe we should start a petition then send it to the company Barb???
& in reponse too figurechick i totally agree i wouldnt want sookie in a dress or anything her merlottes uniform and her hair in a ponytail i would want bill in his green shirt & dark trousers and eric with short hair from s2 & his leather jacket black t-shirt and trousers
since we are all dreaming 2# what accesssories woul;d you want the figures to come with? and would you like a free poster of the character to come with it?

I really wish a company would get the license and make True Blood figures but I have a feeling it will never happen, but then again I wouldn't have thought anyone would have made busts either. By the way what is it with companies testing the mechandise waters by making busts first, Veronica Mars, Supernatural, and now True Blood. I wish these companies would release figures before busts.

agreed busts are lame , but if you are a collecter you'd get the busts for the sake of it
