I'm currently following the DeAgostini Harry Potter Miniatures line. It's a bi-monthly release, and you get a Harry Potter miniature along with a picture book of said character. Some 60 miniatures are planned, but more are likely to follow. I don't think I'd buy miniatures but it's nice to see such a wide array of characters. They look quite nice too. Couldn't find a pic of McGonagall.

No the twins were canceled for now...The UK figures are out now...They are so much better than the NECA ones. I really hope they find their way over here with the deal NECA and TOMY have

oh and one other cool thing...I was browsing craigslist and found an ad from a guy selling 5 harry potter wands ($10 each)....I called him, he didn't seem to know about them but from how he described them they sounded like the noble collection wnads so I wnt over and was pleasatntly surprised they were noble wands.....I ended up buying voldemorts, dumbledores, and sirius wands....awesome for $30 when they are $35 each through noble.......the guy said they were an old roommate who moved and left a whole bunch of stuff behind (never came back for it).....the otehr 2 wands were harry (alreday have that one) and harry light up wand...would ahve bought that but it was missing the battery cover....so alla and all very cool find

Best bet for pics is to sign up to Photobucket or something like that.

Does Tomy plan on making more figures? If series have the characters for the next series been announced yet?
I'm quite tempted by the Tomy figures which have recently shown up locally (in Australia), but I don't want to start a "collection" unless I know I can finish it and, for me, I would need at least Ginny and Dumbledore for it to be "finished".
Cheers.

I'd say after the poorer sales of the PopCo assortments Tomy will be taking things very slowly.
I have Hermione & Ron on the way. Interested to see how Hermiones face looks.

Ron and Hermione are the best likenesses of both that I have seen.

hey you guys, happy harry potter 7 day! (it's alread out here in italy) sorry it's taken me so long to reply but uni's been hectic lately and i'm finding it hard to keep up with...well, everything else! lol anyway i've managed to get together a couple of pics from my DeAgostini figurines collection, these ones date back to a year ago but you can still get a glimpse of how they handled this line. since i'm so not good at this whole uploading pictures, if anyone volounteers i'll be happy to send said pics via email! =) by the way, does anyone know how i can snag one of the so-coveted Gryffindor Common Room playsets with the Harry figure, NOT the Ginny one? Re:creation was to re-release them with a bonus Harry figure? i really want that figure oh and where is everyone getting their Tomy figure? i'm talking online retailers. I'm trying to find one which has the full wave but they all seem to miss Ron & Hermione and a discount of some sort would be super-welcome lol thanks again guys, hope you all enjoy DH! p

Found the Tomy figures in a department store called Big W. They were around $9. I really like the look of them. Were Snape, Draco & Hagrid released with the first wave?

^^^^
I've seen Hagrid at Myer. I think he was $10.00. I haven't seen Ron, Hermione, Draco or Snape in stores, but the figures seem to be flying off the shelves so they may have simply sold out.
Cheers.

Such a big difference for me that ^^^. Shame they couldn't have kept the figures the same scale as the PopCo line

I live in the U.S. so there's no finding these figures for me. Luckily my brother just went to Prague and brought me back a Tomy Harry and Voldemort. These figures look great. I want to open them but the collector in me won't allow it. I'm gonna have to pay big to get all of these.

My Tomy Voldermort doesn't like to stand much. They really needed to give him knee movement.
Bought Ron yesterday. He is proabably my fave of the Tomy kids. Really nice figure. Ofcourse I don't have Draco yet & he looks pretty good.
Ron's packaging seems to suggest you can put the necklace around his neck....but I can't see how that could happen unless you rip his head off. Has anyone tried removing their heads yet?
