Mango, towards the end of the episode it shows Buffy walking to her home. I think she had on brown boots and a little black clip in her hair. I'm not sure if you wanted to change this. It was something I saw so I thought I'd mention it.
My back wall is almost done! Yeah!! I won't post pictures until I get the table with the magic stuff done.

Okay here are a few updated pictures: I am going to try to repaint Cordy's eyes. I am not happy with them and compared to the manufactured one, it stinks. Anyway, here is the reference photo. I knew those stripes were going to be difficult. I have a shaky hand at times so I just couldn't get the lines to look uniform... Here is the before/after of the items on the table: Picture from the show's scene: I won't post my Willow scene yet. I love how she turned out, and the back wall, I'm eager to get it complete so I can share....just a little longer....

I like the shirt details, but the hair of Cordelia should be around her neck, willow base looks great.

I think I've figured out why some of my customs looks so sloppy. My camera seems to show every mistake and out of line mark that I make. In person the Cordelia looks rather nice. You have to put her right up to your eye to see the "wavy" paint job of the lines. It shows up so bad in the pictures. I often wondered why people don't comment more on my work--they can't see the in-person work (and of course I'm biased) and how cool it really looks. I'm going to see if summer pictues with natural light give a more true-to look for my work. At any rate, I'm going to wave my white flag on Cordelia and chalk it up to practice.... I'll post the before and after (I wanted to give it another go at her eyes). I went way overboard with the eye make-up and the lips are super pink. She's not the main focus anyway and her head is slightly down so it'll look great in the set, just not alone. By the way, this particular head is not one I will probably use again--it just looks fat and goofy.... Older pic (which I probably like better...ah well...) Newer pic I'll go ahead and show you the base since it's done. I love how this turned out!!

I'M DONE!!! Let me know what you think!! Honest feedback. I really didn't repaint OZ's face. I really liked the paint job but I just fixed his goofy eyes. I made them looking over at Willow. Reference: Pre: Done: Complete set. Should I just get rid of the IV machine thing? Does it take away from the scene--that is what my roommate said. Again, comments welcome--I would like to know what you people like and don't like....

Great job, really nice, I think the trick of the stripes, it's the same of cars, you need to paint her blouse but put some tinny tape before that in the places of the stripes, then removie the tape and the stripes will be there. Yeah I think the problem with pics its the exageration of flaws, have you ever try to film your customs?, i think that's a modern approach and since you said that they look better in person, the close thing to that it's a video, great job on the scene I really like Oz and Willow, Cordelia is nice too and all the medical gear is really awesome.

I think the scene looks great- love all the little details in it. I think you did a good job w/ Cordy's shirt. Painting stripes straight by hand is difficult, especially over curves.

I thought about using tape and paint her shirt in many steps. I opted to go for the free hand. If I didn't already glue her down I might try to give it another go.
I'll have to try the video thing. If I can figure out how to get it on here and if there is a sunny day coming up I'll do that! Thanks for the idea!

I really love Willow and Oz and the little diorama you made . I like Cordy too, but something about her face looks off.

Barb I totally agree with you about Cordy. You know what it looks like? --it looks like when you pull your head back and your chin does that "double chin thing." She looks like she is pulling her head back and it does look strange. I really didn't change the head from what she originally was. Maybe it's the hair. I think that will haunt me how it didn't quite work out the way I saw it. I have the set sitting on my shelf so that you can see the backside of Cordy. I have to say, this is one piece that was quite the challenge and I truly thank Mango for choosing the idea and letting me know what she wanted to see done. I will be eager to see how Mango's set will turn out! I know she's been super busy.
