Well, he is platina(or is that when it's completely white?) blond, which is pretty much white with a yellow undertone or whatever it's called. But I see what you mean, it might be a bit more gray-ish than yellow-ish compared to the shows.
But I got to tell you, considering the way too bright yellow hair the Throne of the slayer got, I'm glad they did made it too white than too yellow.
*comparing shots*
Yes, they could definitly have put some more yellow into his hair. Still, too yellow would have been worse.

Does anyone know if Electric Tiki plans on making a Tara anytime soon?

^^ Doubt they would make her before more popular/major characters. I'd expect a Xander, Giles and Anya before Tara, and I don't expect those three at all. Maybe Anya, since they prefer making the girls.

I was told awhile ago that they did not have any plans past Spike. I hope that is no longer true as I would really like to see at least Angel, Giles, and Xander made. A few more Big Bads like the Master, Caleb, and Adam would be nice too.
As for Tara, I would love to see a OMWF Willow and Tara set!

It really is a shame if they don't make more because I would love to see more of these statues. I really wanted Angel and then Xander, Giles & Cordy

What a dissapointment . I would have loved to own a OMWF Willow and Tara set. Also more of the main characters. Stupid Electric Tiki, they made some nice things and then they decide not to make any more.

I doubt it has to do with brains, more with money...

I doubt it has to do with brains, more with money... Which also doesn't make sense since these are virtually sold out everywhere and most of them go for above retail (way above for some) on the secondary market!

Exactly! So why don't they make more?

I asked about the continuation of the line on Facebook and this was thier response: "Hi Adam. Spike is the last figure in our Buffy line. We may revisit it in the future but we wanted to move on to other things." This response kind of makes me mad. It's not that the line wasn't sucessful but that thye wanted ot move on to other things...forget that the line is sucessful and key characters have yet to be made...Electic Tiki is board with it and wants to move on to other things.

I have three tikis I need to sell, the Willows and EOD Buffy.
Dark Willow and Buffy are as good as new, while tl willow has broken off fingers and broken and glued smoke bits(that now makes her lean forward more).
What do you think I can get for them?
Btw, shipping from Sweden is about 75 USD so I can't ask for too much. On the other hand, I think I could ship several for 75USD.

You hear stories about this and it always make you feel uneasy about who's sending your stuff.
I am always fearful of sending fragile items like these and receiving them.
The only suggestion I can possibly give when you're send it to someone is to use the original packaging it came in (foam, box and all), and make sure to add plenty of padding or the foam peanuts and fill that box up. Air packs are another popular choice from the items I received in the mail. Take it to the post office have them stamp "fragile" on the box and write "glass" on the box and "HANDLE WITH CARE." Also if you send it to another country or within the state alway buy insurance against loss or damage and add tracking if these options are available.
I'm in the USA and whenever I send a buyer an item I'am sure to select any options that would make me feel more secure that the buyer gets his or her item, quickly and safely. By this I mean insurance and tracking. Rule of thumb I alway add the postage back in with the total value for the insurance so say I only charged a bust $50 I would include the cost of shipping say $17 with insurance, then I will mark the content value $67.00 USD. Then this way if something goes wrong and you want that refund I can get it back from USPS.
eBay and Paypal will cover you (the buyer) from this if there is a dispute so you get a full refund back no questions asked. However if the seller didn't buy insurance or mark the packging in the way I stated above he/she may have trouble collecting insurance.
To answer your question - Yes, some people out there think it's ok to send bust, statues, glass, customs out that way because they don't know any better. That is why when you are on eBay or secondary market you always ask for the original box and packaging or something that is NEW (MOC, MIB). That is why I don't understand why people destroy their boxes to save space at home. I mean if you were to resell it people will value the content more if you have the original packaging too. Not just the item itself.
If I were sending you this I would have used jumbo bubble wrap with tape and foam padding mixed with peanut foam - that is if I didn't have the original foam box that these normally fit snuggly in. Paper Napkin is NOT a cotton towel or to be confused with a bath towel. A napkin is a napking and offers zero protection, especially when it comes to statues.

Okay so I'm getting a full refund and I don't even have to send her back. So that's good. I think the seller agreed it was his fault and it is pointless to send her back in the state she's in. I'm gonna get myself some superglue. Give it a go. But she literally has no attached fingers. Both arms are in several pieces. The magical glowy smoke is just unbearable to look at and she has chips and scratches all over her.
She's gonna need a lot of glue, some super sculpy and a good repaint. I see me giving up on her and buying a new one before she's anywhere near fixed though... I'll keep you posted :/

I'm not sure if this will work, but I think I read it from somewhere before that after you are done glueing the pieces together to cover up all the cracks use clear nail polish coat to go over all the lines prior to painting and it should create a nice smooth base and the cracks will be less noticeable.
Give it a shot, because what do you have to lose right? Hope this helps resurrect tiki willow because on the box she owes someone some pain for sending her out that way.

I'm not sure if that's such a good idea but thanks! The superglue has had a bad affect on the paint, so I'm imagining that adding another substance like nail polish would probably make it worse. I'll fill in the cracks, sand it down with fine sandpaper and then paint and seal. Whatever happens I'm gonna have to replace her because she's just not in a good state. But she'll do for now :/
