That is a very nice touch for the 10th Doctor. I was hoping that a Series 4 Doctor would have a dark shirt...now at least we will have him. Personally I'm hoping for a Fires of Pompeii Doctor in, if I'm remembering correctly, a brown suit with a dark blue shirt...it's a good look and would differentiate him from Series 2 and 3.

I know he's worn the blue shirt with the brown suit before so hopefully they will release that and the blue jacket-burgundy shirt combo as single packs for this series!

Rather jealous of our all american citizens now! Hopefully it will show up here somehow despite all evidence to the contrary!

Being an American Citizen doesn't make this any easier to get. There is no chance in...Anywhere that I am going to make it SDCC. All it will do is make postage a little cheaper! That being said, i think with an edition run of 3000 this will be available at a lot of Who retailers at very little over retail. Just don't go crazy and buy it on ebay right after SDCC.

I am usually able to find someone to grab me the SDCC exclusives, as there are generally a few I am after. But I've had no luck this year.
I like the Doctor in the dark shirt. And the celery is a nice touch on 5th Doc. But I won't be too let down if I don't get them.

My main gripe is that as a fifth doctor fan, it makes zero sense to release a version of him widely that he only looked like for a very short time in one serial, and make his more iconic look a rare exclusive, it just seems like a very poor attitude to fans to me

I can understand how frustrating that would be! I'm not a fan of classic Who...because I've never seen a classic episode but I do plan on getting every Doctor and I really want this set. I know MrFusion and Missasistant said that a celeried one would never be released on card in the UK and the one being released is based off an episode where he did not wear the celery but maybe they will release some sort of box set with the Doctors from different episodes with slight variants of their existing outfits...including celery on the 5th...maybe, at least I hope they do as there seem to be a lot of fans who want him represented this way. I also am no where near San Diego but if anyone needs help I will do what I can. Like if a store that doesn't ship overseas has them for a good price I would be glad to forward them on...

I think our best bet is WhoNA - the only problem is availability, they said those would be in stock during SDCC (July 23rd) so gonna need to check their store as often as possible to buy at least one of those sets.

That's OK, I've got so many sites bookmarked it always takes me few minutes to find a specific address. BTW, the first post of this thread contains all the necessary links as well. July 23rd gonna be a very thrilling day! ;D

Is it me or is that outfit the coat from the Odd sphere? It is the Ood outfit. I'm going to bet the same as others on the Who forum...much like the SJA figures, they will make Donna with her coat for this set, & without her coat single carded.

The figures look great. I'm a little disappointed that Donna's costume isn't correct for the episode, but it's not a terrible looking costume (and it's not like Donna has had one particular look/style for her episodes, although pants and one of those maternity type tops with a belt seems to be pretty common for the character).
And Donna's inclusion in this set indicates that she is going to get a "variant" single carded figure (perhaps without a coat and some new arms). Unless CO think Donna won't sell by herself and this is the only figure we're going to get?
While I don't really want three Sontarans, I'm likely to grab this set if I see it at retail. Otherwise, I'm hoping a Donna and Sontaran will be available individually.
Cheers.

They always single card the companions so I would have thought that they would be putting a Donna on one too.Perhaps the one planned to be carded is from the Sontaran episodes so CO thought that they would be nice and put in another new Donna for the boxset.I hope so anyway!
Donna is a very good figure so I can't wait to get her.I hate Skorr ( for pretty obvious reasons ) so I don't really like that one too much. Staal is great ( even though he does look like a talking baked potato.Mind you , if they made a Ross figure then he would look like a pink weasal).

I wonder how articulated the sontarans will be, since the armour doesn't seem to lend itself well to too much.
