After hearing about all the problems people are having with body parts falling off I'm kind of glad that I have become a non-opener.

I got my Graduation Day Buffy today and I absoloutley love her. She is without a doubt the best figure produced yet. Early worries about ugly articulation just slipped away - she is beautiful. My joints on the figure seem a little delicate, but since I haven't diveluged in any rough play yet she seems to be fine.
My only bad points I could find on the figure was that the Handcuffs seems a little brittle and do not open/close, and also that she really has trouble standing. You have to bend her in so many different places to have her in a cool position, looking upwards and keeping balance.

got my "graduation day" buffy and faith today and they're pretty neat. i enjoy collecting super-articulated figures such as marvel legends and street fighter and these are no exception. the higher number of articulation points are a welcome addition to the 6" buffy figure franchise. i haven't had much problems with them being loose although i understand what people are saying when they mention the legs, it does take a while to get them standing in a pose. i don't know if you can tell from the pictures below but the faith seems a bit deformed. the hair piece has been shifted to the right when it was poorly applied and the lower part of her mid torso joint isn't in the middle, its shifted to the left (although it isn't noticeable with the jacket on) all in all, quite pleased. i will definately have to track down "end of days" buffy heres a couple of shots: regards, yikhai

Thanks for the pics Yik! So far I have bought Graduation Day Buffy and Faith, but I can't wait to get the others! I haven't had any problems with either of the two, well besides trying to find a position for them to stand. Overall I think these figures are worth it! Definitely must-haves

Great pictures Yik. I almost got chills seeing the Deluxe Buffy leading the charge of all the assorted Scooby Gang figures in your collection. I really hope they make Deluxe versions of all the characters from Chosen. That would be so awesome.

I got my End of Days Buffy today! She is my favourite figure ever made! She is truly beautiful. I was a bit worried about her, but she's fine. She has no loose articulation, can stand easily and her denim jacket isnt huge and bulky like in the prototype pictures.

Are people receiving these from Time and Space Toys already? I haven't gotten mine yet so was just curious. Thanks. I just got an email this morning from them saying they got the deluxe figs in. They should start shipping today or sometime this week! Hoo-ray! ;D

I picked up GD Buffy and Faith today! GD Faith is perfect, figure wise. No loose joints at all.
GD Buffy has a few problems. #1: Loose leg joints. I know though that others had them as well. #2: She has two left legs! So while one leg stands straight, the other one sticks way out to the side. I'm not sure if I'll take her back or keep her though, since it's kind of a cool stance. #3: Her yearbook is missing its text. The little yellow thing up in the corner is there, but the rest of the book is blank.
With all of that combined, I'm pretty sure I'll just be taking her back tomorrow and (hopefully) trading her for another. They only had four figures total out on the counter (GD Buffy and Faith, EOD Faith and OMWF Buffy) but hopefully there are more in the store than just the four sitting on the counter.

I got mine today - Graduation Day Buffy and Faith, as well as End of Days Faith and Once More w/ Feeling Buffy (I also picked up Judgement Lorne and Bad Girls Wesley - my single biggest One Day Buffy Figure pickup ever!). I actually had some problems with the dealer I got them from and a mix up that I had somehow gotten ones on hold for someone (won't go into it since it all ended up okay but wow, people can sound nasty sometimes!). Anyway, I have had ZERO problems with the figures. I do admit that after reading that some limbs broke that I took a little extra precaution with them (I've had a couple Star Wars figures break on me - and always ones that had a high level of articulation which in the 4" scale, can be even more problematic than in 6" scale of Buffy!). Anyway, I did notice a couple "Stiff" areas that others may want to watch for. With a few gentle, easy "half turns", the paint, which appears to be the only thing making them stiff, will work itself loose and then every joint moves well. The ones that seem the "stiffest": the shoulders - the "ball joint" part that attaches to the upper arm actually turns (I didn't think it did at first, that's how stiff mine were). I can see where it would break if someone just jammed it in and tried twisting /bending too hard too fast. Anyway, by watchjing the joints (to make sure I wasn't trying to twist in a direction that simply isn't possible to move in, and then gently but firmly twisting until the joint loosened up. The upper thigh ball joint is the same way, while the knees and elbow joints can use a similar loosening up from the paint making them too stiff. Once I got them loosened up though, I want to stress that this iin no way means they (or at least mine) are now loose or dangly or anything - they are still quite firm and poseable, just easier to move. :-) Additionally, Lorne's legs move too (they were stiffer than Buffy and Faith together!) but they do bend (he can't exactly sit down, but his upper thighs do bend at the hip joint). As for the Buffy and Faith's - they have become my favorite Buffy figures ever!!! At first I was uncertain about how I'd like them, and thought I might just get them to ppu the heads on "regular" figure bodies. However, I realize now that I LOVE the super articulation, and even though it looks a little odd as compared to the traditional sculpts, it really does add a lot of fun "playing power" to these figures. I was comparing it to my other favorites, like Willow, Tara, etc (oh! btw, Willow and Tara 4-Ever w/ Kitty Fantastico has been marked down to 18.74 at our local SunCoast video - and they had a 30% off clearnace items the day I got it - and I was ready to pay full price!!! So anyone looking for them, check out Suncoast stores!). Oh - anyway, compared to the new Buffy and Faith, the scultped figures with very little movement seem totally dull in comparison! I know what most are thinking - and I always display mine too rather than actually "play" with them per se, but still, I LOVE these figures!!! I'll write a better review maybe on the likenesses - but it is absolutely true that Faith looks so much better in person that it's hard to believe it's the same from the pics. Her face - held up to and facing the new Buffy with noses touching - actually is NOT appreciably longer than Buffy. It does look odd tho - just not as bad as the pics. I still gootta figure out how to post my edited pic of her face - amazing how much it looks like Eliza Dushku. Anyway, I doubt anyone will be disappointed in these incredible figures!!! :-) And I totally plan on doing the Invisible Girl Hair Transplant - just as soon as I find an Invisible girl! :-)

Got GD Buffy today! My stupid cheapskate father wouldn't give me 9 bucks so I could get Faith too, but whatever, The comic shop had GD Buffy, GD Faith, OMWF Buffy, EOD Faith, and the Wes and Lornes.

Went back to the comic shop today and traded my GD Buffy in (the poor thing, she was deformed) and got a new one without a problem. Opened her up and she's perfect! No loose joints or paint issues at all.
However, one thing. There were only two in the store; one of their yearbooks was exactly the same as mine, with no printing on it. I got the one with the printing and then realized it's all screwed up on mine! Oh well, no big. I just thought it was weird that I got one first without any writing on it and saw that another one was the same way.

I got my figures today! Well, most of them atleast...still got 1/2 of the EOD twins and BG Faith to go but I'm loving these new figs. I'm a little bit bummed though because my OMWF Buffy has really loose arms so she can't through a decent punch but I'm considering tearing off Faith's spare arms and sticking them into Buffy's sockets. Do you guys think that's possible? I'd paint over Faith's tribal tat of course and the outfit would still look fine, Buffy's worn shirts with no sleeves and a loose collar before (see "Shadow").

I would repaint the top to a darker purple/red type color and it would look like the season 6 promo shots, since the shirt colar is pretty similar.

I bought a few as well. I got EOD Buffy which I adore, Bad Girls Faith, and the Graduation Day figures. I am unimpressed with the Faiths. I don't think they resemble her at all. And the make-up is not very good. I would have liked more eyeshadow on all of the Faiths, as well as EOD Buffy. And my Graduation Day Faith has a broken foot, she can't even stand. It sucks

More pics! I f-ing love OMWF BUffy! She is my favorite from the deluxe line (I don't have eod yet)! I think that the darker makeup on OMWF Buff helps bring out a better likeness. I agree that the Faith likeness leaves a few things to be desired but I don't hate it as some others do. I think it is mUCH better in person. I like the way she looks in black better, it is more Faith-ish!
