My DC collection hasn't grown in ages.
I just can't find most of the DCUC figures that I want in Australia and the Evil-Bay prices are prohibitively expensive. Mattel had announced that they would be selling DCUC (Wave 9 onwards) on mattycollector.com, but for some reason they won't be selling any of the figures until 2010.
Still, I'm hopeful that the "Public Enemies" wave will make its way to Australian Target stores. I'll probably grab a Superman and Batman for "vanilla" versions in my Justice League, even though they're both in a highly animated style.
Cheers.

Someone mentioned that Casefresh.com.au was starting to stock DCUC, though it may not be listed on the site. You can e-mail them, Daisy is always very helpful. Not sure if they are considered expensive. I've been eyeing off a few wave 8 Giganta's on eBay. I wouldn't mind buying the whole wave as there are some fantastic figures included, but as you mentioned it would be expensive. Were you still interested in the JLU male stands Haeph? I think it was you who mentioned that.

I haven't gotten into a lot of DCUC- mostly tried to get a New Gods collection going, so I bought the Kalibak components and Barda and MM. Haven't committed funds to get the Orion/Lightray 2-pack. After that I'll get a parademon or two, and Mantis and so forth.
Still looking for Nightwing in this line and Robin too probably. At which point I'd probably try to assemble a Grundy, cause I likes me some Grundy.
Mostly with Mattel I hunt for JLU figs. I had quit DC collecting and had my old STAS and TNBA collections when I noticed that figures I'd wanted for years to round out those old collections were being released in JLU, so I started getting them, and kept having the extras that I like enough not to send to the Bay like I did the random characters I didn't care about. At this point my JLU collection is at least as large as the other DC collections combined. Darned collector's frenzy. But I like that I can still defray costs by offloading the characters I don't know anything about like Vibe or ummm... what was her name Crimson Fox? Whatever. I wish these were easier to find. I'm happy that making the line Target exclusive kept the line going, but I wish that they were a little better with distribution. So it goes.

I know they didn't do as well as Mattel wanted. I do wonder if the lackluster sales for the first set were in part due to the exclusion of Clockwork Man's hat & cane. I thought I'd wait till a few sets were release & then I'll grab them all (along with some stands).

casefresh.com.au is stocking DCUC, but only in "waves" and I'm too cheap to be buying complete waves of DCUC. I'm just trying to complete the founding members of the animated "Justice League" as well as a couple of others like Aquaman (founding member of the comic-book version).
The C&C Giganta does look very cool. I almost wish Mattel would sell some of the C&C figures as "deluxe" figures on mattycollector.com. They're meant to be included to encourage kids to buy a whole wave of figures and since mattycollector.com is for the "adults", they wouldn't be damaging their in-store sales (much). And if they waited 6-12 months, then it wouldn't really be an issue either. But I doubt it will happen. Even if Hasbro are releasing deluxe versions of some cool figures (including Galactus) for their teeny-tiny toy line.
As for JLU stands, I'm now using blu-tak and it has been keeping the figures standing for months without problems, so I probably don't need the JLU stands any more.
Cheers.

I generally just put them in walking positions. That doesn't really fix the problem with most of them, that's why the bigger figures are soo important in my display (Grodd/Grundy etc) as they generally act as 'load bearing' figures for all the weaker standers. I probably won't bother with the stands either. And I have heard they can be pretty useless sometimes anyway.

I can't seem to access that Fwoosh link (not "authorised"). Are you selling any DCUC or DCSH figures?
Cheers.

Updated my JLU crew pic with the more recent additions of the Exclusive Grodd, Mutiny in the ranks & League United sets: Do we know if the Cheetah set is out yet?
