Hey All i started this to pass some time its David as he appeared in a photoshoot. Im very pleased with the body. The legs cam from Leo, i used my new dremel (thanks mum lol) to smoothen out the boots and then added Angels Feet. I sculpted his ankles and thighs. He has Spikes torso and a Mac Angel Head. The bath tub is full of scenic water, remeltable resin, i then painted some bubble details on, to cover is erm........pride and joy lol. Although it isnt sculpted, which is another reason why its covered. Ok, im pretty pleased with his likeness, although it isnt great, i think its the moustache and goatee that throws me off, its not Angel its David. Tomorrow, i will add more bubble details, add glue for wetness and then take some more pics. He has leg hair painted on too! What do you all think, from this picture anyway. Wayne

He looks really nice! I like the ideo of photoshoot figures! Nice parts selection and the paint job is great, as usual!
Do you have photos from other angles? I would like to see his face, and maybe a few photos from the angle of the bas photos?

God, Wayne, this is another amazing piece of art and you started it to pass some time ?! LOL he looks fabulous so far ! the parts work really well together and the bathwater and bubbles looks actually real can't say anything about the facial likeness since I can't see his face very good but just out of curiosity, why didn't you used one of the new Angel heads ?

Nice figure and a great effect with the water and bubbles. I love his hairy legs too.
What product did you use for the water exactly? I'd like to get some of that.
I've used glue and nail varnish before (like a mad loon) and I suspect it makes my customs highly flammable. You'd better not put Balthazar near an open flame, CMK!

Hey All Heres some updated pics of David! Ive completely repainted his face. Since this is my FIRST proper male custom from the Buffyverse, im very pleased. I think ive nailed his likeness, including his worn looking eyes. I still have to paint his necklace and add dripping glue etc. His hair does actually have tones in it, but for some reason you cant see them very well in the pictures What do you all think? Wayne

Angel pubes seem to be all the rage lately... are you kidding. you can barely see them. i had to put something there. i didnt sculpt anything PLUS they are mostly covered in bubbles. and sure, a comment about the figure would have been nice, not a sarcastic dig

Wow, damn. That is HOT. I love the pictures of David. I've never seen those before.
You did an amazing job recreating the photo. I'm especially impressed with the legs! Those are hard to make.
He's just gorgeous! Love him.

you really should work for DST or so, like a prototype maker he's absolutely breathtaking I'm not a huge DB fan but I liked him as Angelus when he was bad and this fig has the same look in the eyes, very sexy kudos Wayne, he's just amazing the bath water looks so real, all the hair looks real, his eyes look damn real, the likeness is very very good I think he's simply perfect ;D
but again, may I ask why you used the MAC Angel head ? (I'm just curious)

How about this: the facial paintjob is superb. You really brought out his cheekbones and the facial hair is done with wonderful detail. Despite your pics, I can see the highlights in the hair. The skin tone is nicely done, I like the subtle touches of veins to add the realism. His thighs look a tad meaty (David has very thin legs) but its exusable because things under water can tend to appear bigger. I like the water effect you put in there as well as the suds. Might I suggest, though, usng maybe some light plastic for the bubbles, it might give it a little more texture and volume.

This is so great Wayne! The hair tones show up on the second pic just fine and it really captures that darker hair color look when hair gets wet. What really makes this figure is the eyes because that is what made that photo so attractive. Good job!

Not to go all Paris Hilton on you, but dude. That's hot.
And can I just say how glad I am you used an Angel 1 head, instead of those ugly, ugly DST Angel heads? I never thought they had any likeness to David.
Great job, man!

the paintjob on his face is really impressive ! thats no action fig at all, that a 6" real looking mini David LOL
I think this is your best work yet, really, I'm impressed (again)
BUT I do think a real necklace would have been better though
