Sorry I still dont know your name That's okay...My name is AdamYou are married, right? I sure am if so, when did you decide it was about the time for you? Let's see...we got married on August 28th 2004, I asked Bethany on April 7th 2004, and we started dating on August 28th 2003. We had known each other for about 8 years before getting married, but our lives took different directions and when we started seeing each other again in the summer of 03...I know, I just had to go through the right steps before asking her. Where you afraid or did you have any doubts on that? No, none at all...I was a little nervous about the wedding day but that was more about the event of the day than actually getting married.I remember seeing a thread about you getting a daddy. So hows it go so far? So far so good...for me. My wife is still VERY pregnant!Wich custom (made by you) do you like best? This really is a hard one...I have a few. I'm really proud of my Demon Giles, I think I did a pretty good job on him. I also love my After Life Buffy, I think the sculpt turned out great and I love the colors of her outfit...but right now I think I'm going to say my Chinese Slayer Slaying Spike.

Congrats on getting the hot seat, Adam! Thanks, I was really excited!1. Which of your customs is your favorite? Well you own one of my favorites, After Life Buffy.2. Which is your favorite Harry Potter book and why? That is a really tough call. I really like Goblet of Fire because of all the action and challenges. I also like the discovery in the Half-Blood Prince, I think it is a great book. I also loved the Deathly Hallows. But overall I think I have to say my favorite is Goblet of Fire. Deathly Hallows might take it's place after a few re-reads. I absolutly loved the last half of the book and the ultimate ending of it...but I won't put any spoilers here.3. Who is your favorite Harry Potter character? That too is a really tough call...I like aspects of al of them. I think overall Hermione is my favorite character...although Luna has really grown on me...I wish she had been introduced earlier in the series4. What the first activity you'd like to do with your son, when he's old enough (i.e. play sports with him/ teach him customizing/ etc')? I think I would like to get different craft options and just let him be creative. I'm not a huge sports fan so that isn't where I would choose to go, but I want him to lead...I'm excited to see him discover what he enjoys doing, I just want to guide him to be the person he is going to be. My wife and I are big into theatre so I suppose he will have that influance, I hope he enjoys singing, and I would love for him to learn to play the piano...but again, it all depends on his interests. I also want him to expand his imagination, so I think I will probably read with him a lot...Where the Wild Things Are was my favorite childhood book...I can't wait to read it to him.5. give us five quick facts about yourself. I am 31 years old, Dark Purple is my favorite color, I have a dog named Dobby and 4 cats named Phoenix, Lucy, Calvin, and Simon, I work for Big Brothers Big Sisters, and my wife and I plan to build a new house in a few years on some property we own next to her parents house. (and yes, I love my in-laws) 6. What would you consider most valuable item in your collection (not necessarily the most expensive one)? Some of my Harry Potter Busts...the Lucious Malfoy, Sepia Tone Sirius Black, and Merperson/Grinylow all limited to 500. As far as Buffy is concerned I would say my MsBig Custom that I won in the 2006 Custom Contest. I can't believe I have a MsBig Custom and I won it!

What msbig custom do you own? I won her "Ray-Blasted" Invisible Buffy, she's very niceHairspray or Grease? LOL! Hairspray! We saw it yesterday and it was a lot of fun! My wife wanted to go get some dinner and then see it again..but I wanted to get home and finish the Deathly Hallows...which I did. We'll go again later this week.
what are you naming your son? Owen Victor. Victor is my middle name.We know your fav potter book, but what about your fav harry potter film? I really think The Order of the Phoenix was my favorite film. I loved how they used the news paper to progress the narative of the plot. There a few things about it that I don't understand why they chose to do it differently then the book and my major complaint was that it could have used about 20 more minutes to flush out the scenes we already had..it was a bit choppy in parts, but overall I think it was my favorite.dan radcliffe/emma watson/rupert grint...whos the better actor/ess out of the three of them? Hum...I think that Rupert is the best of them, now that he has grown out of making silly faces and calling it comedy. Emma is a beautiful girl and she fits the part of Hermione well, she can be a little breathy when she dilivers lines...and she tends to talk with her eyebrows. And Dan is hot and cold with his portrail of Harry, sometimes he is really good and sometimes I find his acting annoying, like when he grits his teeth or clentches his jaw when he is smiling...but overall I think they are all doing really well with the parts.

Hey jinxieman, Hello x-esque1. You live in Washington state? What are some pluses and minuses to your area, and have you ever lived anywhere else? Pluses would be that it is green and beautiful with mountians all over the place. My family has a cabin on a Lake and we have a view right into the crator of Mt. St. Helens...It's a beautiful view. I also live really close to Portland, my wife and I go down there to shop all the time, and Seattle is only a two hour drive. The minuses are few, sometimes it rains really hard and it will do that for a week or two straight, after all the west side of Washinton state is a rain forest, but it really doesn't rain here as much as people think, it's usually really nice from July to October...I would say it's usually really pleasent here, nice and mild. I have never lived in another state, but I did go to college way up north in a town called Bellingham...any farther and I would have been in B.C. Canada.
Fun fact, GirlPower also went to college there...but we didn't know eachother.2. Do you read any newspapers? Where do you get news from? I don't really read newspapers...sometimes, I get most of my news on-line or on talk radio...but I won't say what shows I listen too out of fear...I think my political views are different that most peoples here...so I will avoind that topic. 3. What was your favorite movie when you were a teenager? Boy...um, probably Beauty and the Beast...that has been a long standing favorite of mine. My wife and I are both really big fans of that movie (and broadway show), she modled her wedding dress after Belle's yellow dress, only hers was white...she looked VERY pretty. 4. Do you like rollercoasters? Sure, I really enjoy the California Screamer...but I don't do as good on rides as I did when I was younger...I got really sick when I brought my Niece and Nephew to the fair a few years ago.5. What is a dish that you can prepare for your wife and that she enjoys (so something special-ish)? We really like a nice chicken salad with strawberrys, carrots, and red peppers on it. I use blue cheese dressing and she has hers with a ceaser. But the special nights we let Olive Garden do the cooking (It's a 40 mile drive so those really are special nights...or REALLY boaring night). Not so special nights we love Mac and Cheese with a can of Chili mixed in it...yeah, I know, we're just classy like that

Heeey there =)
Hey there to you as well!
1) Which figures from Harry Potter you really want to be released by NECA?
I would love a Yule Ball three pack of the trio.
2) Which do you think is the best HP figure so far?
Hummm....That is a hard one, my wife and I judged them and we decided that the Snape is the best...his stance and the likeness are great. Hermione deserves some props too, and Voldemort looks great as well, although my wife says he looses points because you can see up his dress. The one thing about Snape is there were some pretty bad paint jobs...we got a good one, but not everyone will.
3) What's your favorite Buffy figure, both in 6" and 12" scale?
That too is a hard one. I have to say that I really like the Gentlemen and D'hoffryn in the 6 inch...but my favorite is Illyria. I also really like my Primeval Buffy...I think she is neat. For the 12 inch line I have to say Werewolf Oz...but I also love my Graduation Buffy.

1. Who is your favorite singer?
Josh Groban! Hands down!
2. Who is your favorite actress and actor outside of the Buffyverse?
I don't think anyone is going to be happy with my answer...because I can't really answer this. I like entertainment more than the actors that present it. I look at movies and TV shows as a whole and not who is in them. I like actresses like Kirsten Dunst, Natalie Portman, Parker Posey, even Queen Latifa (I loved her in Chicago and Hairspray). For actors I think Huge Jackman is really talented, so is Toby McGuire...and,well that's all that's popping into my head right now.
3. Who is your role model?
This one is hard to answer too...I've never really had that one person who I see as a role model. My role models have changed through out my life and are usually my close friends. My biggest role model right now is my wife, Bethany, she is everything to me. I'm also a Christian and I think that the ultimate role model is Jesus. Whether one believes he is the Christ or not doesn't matter, he really gave great teachings on how to treat others in life.
4. What is your favorite song?
You Raise Me Up, by Josh Groban. I also really like Defying Gravity from Wicked
5. What is your favorite cartoon?
Another really hard one...I think I have to go with Gummie Bears. Very nostalgic for me.
6. Do you read comic books? If so what is your fave?
I do, but they are mostly limited to the Buffyverse or things that Joss does like Astonishing X-men and Runaways. My favorite would have to be Fray, I really enjoyed that story and expansion of the Buffyverse.
7. Do you like X-Men? If so who is your favorite mutant?
Yes, I'm a fan of the movies and I enjoy Joss's Astonishing (I have only read the first half...I like me the hard backs) My favorite character would probably be Jean/Phoenix. I love her unlimited power and her struggle with it. I do not think the 3rd movie did her character justice, I think they rushed her story line, it needed to be spread out over a few movies...if you ask me.
8. What is your favorite scary movie?
I think Scream is. I really enjoy a good, clean, Scary movie and I appreciate the humor and the cleanliness of that movie. They showed that you can have a good scary movie, and have it not be overly violent or sexual...plus it's light on the language. I like the Grudge too, I thought it was nice and creepy and was still clean, something a young horror fan can watch.
9. Who is your favorite superhero?
I think it might be Spiderman...I just think he is really cool. I have to say I like Batman too because of his dark nature. This is of course not including Buffy...who is my favorite everything...with only Harry Potter to give her the run for her money.

What's one thing you really wanted to see in the Harry Potter movies, but wasn't included? 5. Favorite Hogwarts teacher? 6. Mad-Eye Moody or Remus Lupin? 7. Favorite HP couple? 8. Do you see J.K. Rowling continueing the HP series in books in some way? I know she said she wouldn't, but you never really know for sure, she could change her mind. 9. Hey there Adam Hey Jess1. Favorite house-elf from Harry Potter? Dobby...I just love that little guy. We named our dog after him.2. Favorite actor from the Harry Potter movies? Probably Alan Rickman, He does a great Snape.3. Least favorite actor from the Harry Potter movies and why? That black kid in PoA who seems to be no character yet has several lines. Every time he speaks I just think "who are you and why are you hanging out with us." I mean that line that he says about Sirius Black being like smoke...or something like that...what's up with that kid?4. What's one thing you really wanted to see in the Harry Potter movies, but wasn't included? More Dobby. I hate that they completely cut his character out of GoF and OotP. After reading Book 7 I'm sure they will cut him out of HBP and DH too. I also would have liked to have seen more creatures in GoF like the Blast Ended Skrewts, and all the stuff in the maze. I also wish they had spent a little more time at the end of OotP where Dumbledore explains things to Harry about the prophecy and his past.5. Favorite Hogwarts teacher? McGonagal6. Mad-Eye Moody or Remus Lupin? Probably Lupin...although there are things that I like about both of them.7. Favorite HP couple? Ron and Hermione, then Harry and Ginny.8. Do you see J.K. Rowling continueing the HP series in books in some way? I know she said she wouldn't, but you never really know for sure, she could change her mind. Last interview I saw with her she said that she doesn't think she will need to but that you never know. She wouldn't say no because in 10 years from now she might want to and then she would have to go back on her word, so she will never say never. Personally I don't think she needs to. I would like to see the Encyclopedia of the HP world that she talked about. Otherwise, I'm excited about what other stories she might have brewing in her head.9. How many times did you see OOTP in the theater? I've only seen it once...but my wife and I almost went again last night...but one had already started and the next one started too late. I think we will catch it again sometime this week...if she doesn't go into labor 10. Do you think you'll ever try making any HP customs? Sure, I've thought about it, but nothing has really popped into my head as of yet.More later Bring it on!

I agree about Dobby as well, they should have used him a lot more. They seemed to do the same to Kreacher. And we never got Peeves I also agree about that kid. Who the heck was he?! Those lines should have been given to a character we already knew. 1. Favorite Buffy TVS couple? 2. Have you ever been to any concerts, if so which ones? 3. Are you a fan of the Lord of the Rings? 4. What other authors do you like besides J.K. Rowling? 5. What is your least favorite HP movie? 6. Richard Harris or Michael Gambon as Dumbledore?

1. Favorite Buffy TVS couple?
Willow and Tara.
2. Have you ever been to any concerts, if so which ones?
I'm not a big concert goer...I went to a No Doubt Concert back in the day, and I've seen a lot of Christian artists in concert like Five Iron Frenzy, the Supertones, the W's, and the such...I use to work at a Christian Bookstore in College so I got to see a lot of concerts that we sponsored there. I actually prefer seeing Broadway Musicals, I've been to a lot of those.
3. Are you a fan of the Lord of the Rings?
Yes, I think they did a great job making them into movies, they are beautiful films, and I really enjoy them. I am not as fanatic about them as I about Buffy or Harry Potter but I do think they are great.
4. What other authors do you like besides J.K. Rowling?
I'm not a huge reader...except for Harry Potter. I usually read the series every year. I also listen to them on CD in the car so that I can get through them even faster. My reading enjoyment is with books of the like. I enjoy the Lord of the Rings and Narnia, I've read the Golden Compass seriess, and the Left Behind series. I also like Frank Peretti's the Oath, his other books are okay too, but I loved the Oath.
5. What is your least favorite HP movie?
Probably 1 because I find it rather boaring...I think they could have "adapted" it a little bit better instead of trying to make it scene for scene the book. There are also a few things in PoA that really annoy me so I think that would be the next one for me. The order would be:
Least = 1, 3, 2, 4, 5 = Most.
6. Richard Harris or Michael Gambon as Dumbledore?
I actually like characteristics of both, Richard Harris Looked the part better but I thought he played Dumbledore too tame. Michael Gambon doesn't look the part as well but I think he takes more chances with the character. I actually like it in GoF when he seems to be panicing a little because he knows that someone at Hogwarts is working against him and for Voldemort, so while Voldemort is gaining strength, Dumbledore is feeling like he is losing control. I'll be interested to see what he does with Dumbledore in the next two movies...but mainly in Half-Blood Prince.

Sorry I haven't gotten around to asking any questions yet. If I ask a repeat question, I apologize, but I've only had time to skim over your responses for now. I'll come back and do a thorough read through later. Firstly, I always love a fan of Hermione and Luna. Out of the two of them, which are you more like? During the "Survivor" game on the forum, which was your favorite challenge? When did you start collecting the HP busts? Which one is your absolute favorite? Are there any you don't have? Will you be getting Luna, Bellatrix, and Tonks when they are released? Are you a member at Voldermort'sVault or GentleGiantCollectors message boards? Do you collect the 3 3/4 inch HP figures by NECA? Have you picked up the NECA Hagrid yet? Which Hermione figure would you want the most? Would you pick up an OOTP Ministry of Magic Boxset if they do make one? What company do you want to find the most info from at SDCC? Are you a POTC fan as well? If so, expect one hell of a lot more questions. Alright, that's it for now. But trust me, I'm not done with you yet
