@ The Second EvilHave you ever met an internet friend in real life?Yes i have, several people.. i met them on a Dutch forum about Buffy (of course). I've just met them once though, we went shopping in Rotterdam.
Who is the last person you hugged? My mom, i know.. awww
Name three things that you like about yourselfWow, that's hard to say about myself.
I personally think i'm a nice person and very open minded...
I also like to think i'm funny, at times anyway...
What was the last song you listened to?"Superstar" by... erm, god, i can't remember her name.
It goes sorta like *sings* "I don't know what it is, that makes me feel like this, i don't know who you are, but you must be some kind of superstar"
What time do you go to bed?It really depends, i'm usually one of those people who stays up late. I can't remember the last time i went to bed early... mostly i go after midnight.
@ GerryAs a person that is always a positive influence, or always has something positive to say on the board, do you find yourself having a hard time to find the good in everything, or is it a natural talent?First, thank you! second, i just always try to be nice and positive whatever happens.
I wasn't always though... when i was younger i'd react very differently on things. I could get annoyed really quickly and i'd get snappy. But in the end, i realized that will get you nowhere, so now i always try to see the positive side of things.
And i try to be as nice as possible... being a bitch won't gain you any respect. And it shouldn't.
Of course i have bad days when i'm moody, everybody has. But i don't think that happens that much.
Most people find your country an exotic, ideal place to live. Do you think that it is a great place to live or that the problems are never mentioned in the world press? It's a great place to live, that's for sure. Like i said, people are mostly very open minded, and we are one of the richest country's in Europe (together with the UK and Germany i believe).
But are we perfect? no, of course not, we are far from that. Every country has their problems and so do we.
I think one of the biggest problems is the justice system, the punishments are way too low in my eyes.
Also, terrorists, i think i can assume some of you have heard about the murder on Theo van Gogh? that was horrible, and it made people feel like they couldn't speak their mind anymore.
I think alot of terrorists are hiding out here, i mean, blueprints of big important buildings have been found in some of their houses, blueprints of the airport in Amsterdam. Stuff like that. So people don't feel 100% save anymore.
But like i said, it's something alot of country's have to deal with these days. Apart from that we have more problems, but nothing big enough for me to want to ever move away from here. It's my home and i'm lucky to be born here.
Given a choice between the Harry Potter books and the movies, which one would you pickOhhh, that is such a mean question! But i have to say the books, they have more details and tell the whole story. I still would never want to miss the movies though, they add so much to the world of HP.
@ Jsebold87What scene did you really want to see in one of the first four movies, but it was left out of the movie? Not really a scene, more a character... Dobby, i was really looking forward to seeing him again in GoF. But they cut him (and poor Winky).
What's your favorite Jake Gyllenhaal movie?Donnie Darko, i still don't really get that movie, but Jake is great in it. It's the role that made me love him.
Least favorite Buffy/Angel character and why?I have several, Kennedy, Riley, Maggie Walsh and.... (don't send hate mail people) Angel.
Angel was just so... blah, it's not like he annoyed me. But i just wasn't interested in him or his story lines. Angelus on the other hand is a great character.
So that proves how good an actor David must be, that he can play two such different characters.
Who do you think will die in the 7th Harry Potter book? These days, i think either Harry or Neville. More people from the good side will probably die though.. lesser characters maybe?
I just hope JK won't kill the Weasley's or Hermione, that would be horrible.
As for the bad side... Voldemort will die, of course. And probably most of the Death Eaters, maybe Draco as well?
@ MothpersonWhat is your favorite cheese?Old cheese, young cheese just tastes like milk (i don't know if you use the phrase "old and young" cheese though?)
The older the cheese, the more i like it.
Are you multilingual?I can only speak Dutch and English, i can also understand German pretty well but i can't speak it nor write it. As for French... i've tried to learn that but i failed, it's tricky.
Where have you traveled in Europe, or where do you intend to travel?I've been to Paris and London, and visited 2 Greek islands.
London is my favorite out of those, it's an amazing city and i would love to go there again.
Paris was great, mostly because of the eiffel tower.
As to which places i'd still like to visit? i'd say Rome... and the HP set in the UK (like that's gonna happen)
If we were to kidnap you and bring you here for interrogation, which two states of the U.S. would you like to see after we let you go?Wow, there's so many! But i'll pick the ones that are most known, Cali and New York.
You have alot of great places though, at least, places that look great on television
To name some city's i'd like to see; Las Vegas, Hollywood, San Diego, New York, Miami, San Francisco etc
Do you cook? If you do, what's your specialty?Hardly, i help my mom now and then, but i don't really cook myself, unless i'm home alone, in which case i make something easy like pasta.(or i eat a pizza).
I CAN cook though, i just think it's too much work
Have you ever met the Queen? No i haven't, she only visits bigger city's, and i don't feel like traveling a few hours just to see her. She seems like a nice lady but i draw the line somewhere
What's the difference between Holland and the Netherlands? There is no difference as far as i now, some use "Holland" and some use "The Netherlands", it depends. It's like some people call The UK, The UK.. other's just call it England.
Who is your favorite artist (I mean painter)?Honestly, i'm not really interested in most famous painters, i have been to some museums and it's nice to see. But i don't really have a favorite... i like art that looks good, it can be made by Van Gogh or some 23 year old from lutjebroek. That doesn't really matter to me, i don't just go "Ooohhh that's amazing" just because it has been made by a big name, you know?
If you have to be reincarnated, what would your preference be?You mean, who i'd want to be? probably a girl again.. yes please, and this is gonna sound really bad, but i wouldn't mind being very rich and maybe famous in my next life
What is your favorite constellation? You mean sign?? I'm a libra myself so i would say that one
Have you ever seen or heard a ghost? No i haven't, i really want to though, i'm one of those people who goes like "show yourself, give a sign!" but nothing ever happens.
I'm just not gifted.
Favorite flower?Tulips! yes, very Dutch and very pretty. I love white ones the most, and orange.
Favorite insect? (least objectionable insect if you are one of those anti-insect people)A ladybug
Have you ever seen a UFO?I think so, i have seen some odd things in the sky, i like looking at the stars when i walk my dog at night, and at times, i see lights that don't look like stars, nor airplanes.
I've never seen one land though, sadly. Nor have i been abducted
Loch Ness Monster - your opinion?I have no idea, i have watched some shows about it on Discovery, but i still can't say.
I think that if there was one, they would have found it by now, but on the other hand, some people sound and look very convincing when they talk about their 'encounters'.
I think it will always remain a mystery, which is o.k. with me, i love myths... like bigfoot.
I love Donkey, too. Do you think you could live with him? He's one of those people (um.. donkeys) you can't live with, and you can't live without.
And you rule too! Buscemi was his name.. yes.. i keep forgetting that!
Thanks for the questions guys, it sure keeps me busy!
