Cool. Thanks for sharing. I wonder why it wasn't in the comic.
Also Old Friends 5 comes out this Wednesday.

I just got Old Friends #5 and I liked it. It wasn't the best and the ending wasn't great but it was still good. Spoiler Just wish there was more Cordy in it.
And along with Spike: Lost and Found and Spotlight: Illyria, Spike vs Dracula #3 comes out next week aswell.

I got Issue 5 on Thursday and really liked it. The overall story was really good and it was great to see some familiar faces, even if they weren't really them! I can't wait to read the Angel - Lost and Found and Spotlight - Illyria and I will read all the S v D when I have all the issues.

Did Lost and Found and Illyria come out yet? Or did it get delayed?

I have to say I was pretty disappointed with the end of "Old Friends" -- the conclusion to the story seemed to come out of nowhere...
then again, it did serve to get the fang gang back together, hopefully for more thorough comic adventures

Old Friends was really disappointing for me. After awhile it became cliche and the plot never really went anywhere. So far it's my least favorite out of the Angel comics. (Haven't read the curse but I heard that was pretty pointless by a lot of fans.) So far most of the Spike ones have been good. From the sound of the summaries from the next two Spike vs. Dracula it sounds like those might tie into the Angel season 5 flashbacks. Anyone hear about what happened with Illyria and Spike lost and found? I ordered them at my comic book shop but haven't heard a word.

The Spike books have been a lot more interesting plot wise than the Angel books... as for the new Spike and Illyria books, they should be out this week, or at least next week. So far, IDW seems to be running a week or two slow with all of these.

I was really excited for new post season-5 comics, but the Curse and Old Friends have been so mediocre, I thought. It seemed like every issue of Old Friends had the same big reveal at the end, and that was supposed to continue to be dramatic? And the only thing more uneventful than the full curse storyline were the individual curse issues. The Spike's have been entertaining so far at least. I can't wait for Joss to start writing Buffy comics, or at least for the writing team on the Angel mini-arcs to change. But mostly for Joss new stories to get published. (Supposedly he finished writing one of the comic book stories right?)

I heard a rumor from the guys that run my local comic book shop that Joss was writing the new "Buffy" line for Dark Horse, which is actually being written to be "BTVS: Season 8", taking place after "Angel: S5" so not to disturb any canon or rehash any stories that were already told. But again, this is all rumor. No factual source of any kind.

Its not a rumor actually, Joss has stated in interviews that he will be writing new stories in the Buffyverse. I think he even said he finished the main storyline of the comic or so. He was gonna tie the new comics into the oft-rumored telefilms.

Considering the fact Joss is writing the new comic is in the actual Buffy/Angel mag I don't see how it's a rumour.
