Some more wants- - I can't remember what the name is, but it was the glove from the episode "Revelations. - The Crebbil - Angel's Lance in "Judgement"
I'm still thinking of more... This is a lot more fun than I thought. I won't ever have the money to buy any, but it's cool to think about what can be made.

Any Sort of Replica Cross-Bow I noticed cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4823934476&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT on eBay--a crossbow signed by SMG and purported to be a prop from the show. I got excited because I was able to find out that it's an off-the-shelf model of crossbow, the Hou Shiueh CF-118, and is easy to find for about $50. So, like Faith's knife (the Hibben Jackal) it's a real product we can already buy without needing a prop replica made. But then my excitement disappeared, because I don't know if that crossbow was really ever used on the show--I've checked several different episodes and the crossbows have always been different from that one. Some of the crossbows used onscreen have been obviously completely custom or modified from stock and aren't just off-the-shelf crossbows--like the one Faith steals in "Bad Girls," which appears to be some kind of 50lb. pistol crossbow with a cylindrical metal canister bolted to the back to make it look like a rifle-style crossbow. The one used in the first season seems to be a completely custom prop, or possibly a rather old crossbow; and one used in the 7th season looks like a replica medieval piece. Others appear to possibly be regular stock crossbows which could probably be easily bought if the brand and model could be figured out. But I haven't seen the crossbow from that auction on any of the episodes I've checked. Since I'm viewing on a 100" screen I can easily spot the different crossbows used. So does anyone know in what episode(s) the crossbow from that auction was used (if it really was used onscreen)? Or does anyone know the brand/model of any of the various crossbows that were used, if indeed the ones that look like plain off-the-shelf crossbows really are? I'd love to have any of the same model of crossbows used onscreen, so I'm hoping that some really are regular "real" crossbows, though some are clearly not. Any ideas? EDIT: I've been googling crossbow replicas to see if the 7th season crossbow I mentioned as looking like a medieval replica, is really a commercial medieval replica. And though I havent found out details like manufacturer yet, I did succeed in finding what appears to be the same model of crossbow at a website. It's the kind used by Dawn in "Conversations with Dead People," by Kennedy in "Showtime," and by Molly in "Potential." Comparing the picture on the website with screencaps of the great view we get of the crossbow sitting on a table in "Potential," I'm 98% sure they're identical. Here's the website link (at top): larutadelasindias.com/b909.htmI'm going to watch more to satisfy myself that it's the same model of crossbow.

I saw the crossbow in question. I HIGHLY doubt it's from the show. I don't recall ever seeing one like it. Keep in mind that just because someone bought something from a dealer and/or it comes with a COA, that doesn't mean it's really screen used. And the fact that it's "signed" makes me ever more wary as fake autographs are even more prominent on ebay than fake props. The signed prop combo is often used with phony auctions. Don't believe 95% of the "screen used/worn" prop or wardrobe auctions on ebay. The majority of them are nothing but scams. Especially avoid the seller lange-family-collections. They've been selling fake items forever. I saddens me to see them still selling because there's nothing anyone can really do to stop them. There's not really any way of proving that the items aren't real props other than doing your research and knowing what you're dealing with. Sadly most people see "Screen used!" and don't think twice about.

I saw the crossbow in question. I HIGHLY doubt it's from the show. I don't recall ever seeing one like it. Keep in mind that just because someone bought something from a dealer and/or it comes with a COA, that doesn't mean it's really screen used. Indeed, that's why before purchasing the same model crossbow as in that auction for my prop replica collection, I went to check some episodes in which crossbows were used to see if I could recognize it. I've checked a couple dozen episodes, and none of the crossbows I've seen look at all like it--most are either modern pistol crossbows or reproduction antique "flat" crossbows--no modern rifle-style crossbows, as far as I've seen. I doubt the crossbow from the auction was screen-used, and the claim from the COA that it was used for all closeups and that strings weren't used for safety reasons is false--multiple crossbows are visible in various closeups, and almost all have strings (though many are non-working, the string is still there). The only auctions I'd be confident in for screen-used items are the ones conducted directly by Fox (like the big auctions advertised during Buffy's final season) or known authorized agents. J. Random Seller is always suspect when it comes to "screen-used" or autographed items--maybe they're legitimate, but how can you be sure? Anyway, I was glad to locate at least one type of crossbow that was used on the show. I'm happy enough when I can get the same kind of item used onscreen, or a replica of it--actual screen-used props are amazing (when authentic), but having the same model or a replica on your wall looks just as great. That replica 16th century Italian crossbow I linked to is definitely the same model used onscreen in multiple Season 7 episodes; unfortunately it's been discontinued by the company that made it, Denix, and is fairly hard to find in stock anywhere.
