I wish they wouldnt even announce release dates since nothing is ever on time. The Scythe was suppose to arrive 8 months ago. Vampye Book was last month, same with the Orb. There as bad as DTS with busts

There as bad as DST with busts. I know a lot of people are really getting frustrated with the delays, but from my point of view, Palisades/Factory X just want to make sure the products are the best they can be. Would you rather have a product released on time that's manufactured half-ass or a product that's released late (no matter late it is) that's pretty damn near perfect? I mean, when you really think about it, the delays seem to benefit us more than hurt us. -CMK

Why announce something, give it a release date, and then delay, delay, delay, delay, and then finally release it. It just gets extremtly frustrating when you see an October date, and its October, and since they havn't announced a delay, you fully expect it to ship soon. Then when you e-mail the online store you purchased it from (That may be T&ST, Forbidden Planet, Cinequest etc.) they are the ones that have to tell you its been delayed to November, or whatever month it may be. Palisades (Or Factory X) needs to make these delay announcements more apparent as it just ticks people off. Where is the Scythe? Vampyre Book? Orb of Thesulah? So far we have received only 3 props (An extremly cheap Necklace, an Awesome Stake, and Angelus' Sword). You would think with a prop that retails for close to $300 they would make some announcements on when it will be available and any forseable delays. Oh well....some day these props will be mine...Maybe when Dawn/Buffy line arrives, lol.

I agree about the delays.. they're really frustrating. You'd think, knowing that things ARE going to be delayed that they'd cushion their release time by a few months... even OVER estimate when it would be available, so that there would be the possibility of perhaps releasing BEFORE the projected time. Like the Vamp Book. They could have said Dec/Jan release and gotten it to us in Oct/Nov and we all would have crapped ourselves with excitement that something was releasing before it was due out.
On the other hand though, it is nice to have a suprise when you lease expect it... Who doesn't love to get suprise packages that you forgot about ordering?

I don't anybody truely likes delays including dealers. I am glad that you understand that stores are the ones that have to tell people about the delays and deal with the backlash, although most customers are very understanding. I like how Sideshow gives some good warning if something is coming regardless if it is a $30.00 item of a $200.00 item.
